No one should come between you and God

In the Bible, God’s elect are those who God has chosen for salvation. The word “elect” means “deciding ahead of time,” “ordaining,” or “determining beforehand”. The concept of God electing the saved is found in several Bible passages, including: John 6:44, Romans 8:28-30, Ephesians 1:4-5, and 1 Peter 1:1-2.

The Bible also shows that God has chosen some people to save and others not. For example, in the Old Testament, God chose the Israelites to be his chosen people. In Deuteronomy 14:2, it says, “For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession”.
