Three Heaven and Earth Ages
We started this ministry with Genesis chapter 1, the first two verses I took the time to teach the three earth ages. The importance of understanding the first 6 chapters of Genesis can’t be over stated. With out them the end cannot be understood. In this Sunday lesson we will get a better look at the two, meaning heaven and earth. There is only one heaven and one earth. Ages, ION in the Greek, means a length of time. And with that we begin this study in Genesis chapter 1 with verse 1 and it reads.
Gen.1:1] In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Period, notice the singularity with heaven and earth. Some teachers teach falsely that this was 6500 years ago. Fossils would prove them wrong, but they can’t be argued with. Where they get this is it’s been about 6500 years since Adam and Eve were in the garden. The problem with that is they leave out the first 7000 years of creation. Meaning this earth age is almost, if not, 14,000 years. Back to verse 1, God created the heaven and earth, did not say when. We need to consider three earth and heaven ages and this was singular. This was the first, let’s go to Proverbs 8 and pick it up with verse 22.
