Our study today should give us the Key of David. The Key of David is the knowledge of two fathers, and two seed lines. The first is the seed line of Jesus Christ, which the bible covers thoroughly from Adam to Jesus. (Luke 3). The second is the Serpent’s seed. These will be called Kenites, the offspring of Cain. Let’s begin our study in Gen.3:13-16, and it reads.
Gen.3:13] And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
This is why we cannot understand how it ends without understanding the first six chapters of Genesis. But for the sake of time; this word beguiled is wholly seduced, and this word eat is to lie with woman in the Hebrew. In other words, the serpent laid with both Adam and Eve.
Gen.3:14] And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
[15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Verse 15 being the first prophesy given in God’s word, they bruised his heels when they nailed them to the cross, and he will bruise his head at the second advent. But the reason we came here was between the woman’s seed and the serpent’s seed. Seed represents seed line, lineage.
Gen.3:16] Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Adam also knew his wife, hence the multiplying of conception. Let’s skip down to Gen.4:1-5 and it reads.
Gen.4:1] And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD.
If anyone has ever seen child birth you would understand how Adam would say this. For only the miracle of life comes from God.
Gen.4:2] And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
This word “again” should have been translated “continued”. She continued in labor and bared Abel. Eve had twins, Cain from the serpent and Abel from Adam. We find this in Gen.5, Cain is not in Adams genealogy. Very important in understanding the Key of David, let’s continue and prove that they were indeed twins.
Gen.4:3] And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
[4] And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
[5] But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.
This proves they were twins. They even brought their offerings to the LORD at the same time. Also proving offerings were brought to the LORD from the very beginning.
Now that we have established the two seed lines, Jesus spoke a parable explaining the two seed lines. Let’s go to Mat.13:24-30 and it reads.
Mat.13:24] Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
[25] But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
A tare looks like wheat but when the grain comes in, it puts forth a poisonous black grain.
Mat.13:26] But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
[27] So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
[28] He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
[29] But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
[30] Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Jesus explains this parable to his disciples when they ask, continuing with verse 36 and it reads.
Mat.13:36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
Now Jesus explains this in a way no man should ever hide from God’s children.
Mat.13:37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
[38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
We have two seeds, one of God and the other of that wicked one, the Serpent.
Mat.13:39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Comes right out and says his name, the devil. Notice that the harvest is the end of the world, this would be at the last trump, the seventh. This is our destiny, for God’s elect to stand before Satan and give the testimony of Jesus Christ, bruising his head.
Mat.13:40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
[41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
[43] Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Our Father, upper case. This is why we always open our studies with prayer asking our Father to open eyes and ears to his word. Now let’s go and see how Jesus speaks to the other seed line in John 8:37-45 and it reads.
John 8:37] I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
Saying that they were of Abraham, Abraham means father of many nations. They were not of the seed line but of the nation.
John 8:38] I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
Notice that their father is lower case. They do not have the same father.
John 8:39] They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
[40] But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
They seek to kill him, of the seed line of Cain the first murderer, these are Kenites.
John 8:41] Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
Disclaiming the lower case for the upper case, this won’t fly with Jesus.
John 8:42] Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
[43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
We can discern today when we talk about God’s word with others, sometimes they just can’t understand even when you explain it well.
John 8:44] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
Now Jesus just called them out, telling them who they really are, children of Cain, Kenites. The Serpent’s seed.
John 8:45] And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
This is why they couldn’t understand “The truth shall set you free”. John 8:32-36.
John 8:46] Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
[47] He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
Jesus told them straight to their faces who they were, and then they picked up stones to kill him, showing themselves to be Kenites. Now, let’s go to Isaiah 22:22 and it reads.
Isa.22:22] And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.
The Key of David, opens eyes and shuts eyes. Let’s go to Rev.3:6, speaking to the church of Philadelphia and it reads.
Rev.3:6] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
[7] And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
We see here that it is Jesus that is the Key of David. Jesus is the Word of God and he only can open eyes and ears to the Word. He also can shut eyes and ears with it. So, when we say do you have the Key of David, we are asking are your eyes and ears open to the Word of God. Now let’s see what else is given to us with this key.
Rev.3:8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
It takes works for the Lord, and the door is left open for us, an awesome promise from our Lord, but don’t overlook this “not denying his name”.
Rev.3:9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Talking about the Kenites, from the other father, lower case. But, what about this “before our feet”? When Jesus returns all knees will bow, but we are before them with our feet facing them, this is how they are at our feet. And they will know that he loved us. They say they are one of us, perhaps even in our churches, but lie and are Kenites.
Rev.3:10] Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
This hour of temptation is the sixth trump, and Satan is claiming to be Christ but is the antichrist. We, the elect, shall be delivered up to him, and the Holy Spirit fulfills our destiny.
Rev.3:11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Don’t let anyone take our crown by denying him the opportunity to speak through us. This is the unpardonable sin. Luke 12:10-12. Our crown is life everlasting.
Rev.3:12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
Making us a pillar in his temple, what an awesome thought, the pillar holds up the temple. The Father and the Lamb are the Temple thereof.
Rev.3:13] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Having an ear to hear is our Key of David. Now with the understanding that there are two fathers, our Father and their father. Their father is that Wicked one, the Serpent, the Devil, the Dragon, Satan. In these end times it is for those that search his word and love the Lord with all our hearts that receive this Key of David. Let’s go to his throne.
Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
