Today we will find that little book again, it is to be eaten. What does this mean? It means to be consumed by the flesh for our spiritual nourishment. Rev.10 and verse 1 reads.
Rev.10:1] And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
This is the description of Jesus Christ. We read in Rev.4:3. This rainbow is the Shekinah Glory that surrounds the LORD. We will go to Mat.13 later, Jesus told us something interesting there concerning the sun. But, for now, back to Rev.10 and verse 2 reads.
Rev.10:2] And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
His feet on both for dominance, both heaven and earth. Notice that this book is open. We find this book with Ezekiel, see if any of this sounds familiar. Eze.2 and verse 6 reads.
Eze.2:6] And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
The house of Jacob (All twelve tribes) were rebellious then, as they are now in these end times. How about these scorpions? How about those who hate you for his namesake? He continues with verse 7 and it reads.
Eze.2:7] And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
Speak his Words and not the words of men’s traditions. Speak them to his children whether they will listen or not, this is our job, to speak.
Eze.2:8] But thou, son of man, hear what I say unto thee; Be not thou rebellious like that rebellious house: open thy mouth, and eat that I give thee.
Telling him and us to open our mouths and He will give us his Word.
Eze.2:9] And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
The same hand as Rev.10:2, Jesus Christ, easy to understand when we remember that Jesus is the Living Word. John 1:1-5.
Eze.2:10] And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
Lamentations mean; A sad song. Do not overlook the Woe, it is the beginning of sorrows. He continues in chapter 3 and verse 1 reads.
Eze.3:1] Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
After he received the word, Ezekiel was sent to the house of Israel, as we are today.
Eze.3:2] So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
[3] And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
The Word of God is sweet as honey and the reason why we keep studying his word.
Eze.3:4] And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
[5] For thou art not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;
[6] Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
[7] But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted.
This is why we see only 144,000 of the House of Jacob in these end times and more than can be counted of the gentiles. So, this book is given to us also in these end times to absorb and speak to others, it is a commandment from the LORD. Back to Rev.10 and verse 3 reads.
Rev.10:3] And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
[4] And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
Why not write these thunders? Thunder is an after effect of lightning, in other words when you hear the thunder it is too late, the lightning has already struck. We are supposed to have the seals in our foreheads. These are before the lightning strikes and without them you are deceived. Remember Rev.4 and verse 5 reads.
Rev.4:5] And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.
And in Rev.8 and verse 5 reads.
Rev.8:5] And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
Though these thunders are Woe’s they are sealed in our foreheads, for God’s elect. They are the seven seals and the seven trumpets that the LORD has written for us to absorb. Back to Rev.10 and verse 5 reads.
Rev.10:5] And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
[6] And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
He swears by himself and there could be none greater. But that there should be time no longer, means the seventh trump is about to sound. So now we can understand why he said not to write what he heard the thunders say, it would be of no use to anyone. The lightning has struck, those who have the seal of God in their foreheads know that the time is at hand. We know that Satan has come at the sixth trump and we have done our jobs, and we know this because we have read God’s word with understanding, and we have consumed it, and have eaten it.
Rev.10:7] But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Spoken by the prophet Amos. Amos 3 and verse 7 reads.
Amos 3:7] Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Jesus also taught us in Mat.13 when he himself explained the parable of the tares. Mat.13 and verse 35 reads.
Mat.13:35] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
Foundation is G2602, Katabole, the overthrow of Satan in the first earth age. It has been kept secret for that long.
Mat.13:36] Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
[37] He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
[38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
This would be the Serpent’s seed. Gen.3:14. Kenites, remember there were only two churches that Jesus had no problems with, Smyrna and Philadelphia, they both taught who the Kenites were. Those that claimed to be of Judah, but do lie and are of the synagogue of Satan. Rev.2:9 and 3:9.
Mat.13:39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
[40] As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.
The end of the second earth age.
Mat.13:41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;
[42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
[43] Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Ears to hear refers to his elect. God’s elect, who have the word of God sealed in our foreheads, we can hear. Notice how we also shine as the sun. Now, we have a special verse written in Zephaniah 3, all 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet are used in this one verse, meaning it has great importance. Zeph.3 and verse 8 reads.
Zeph.3:8] Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy.
We see here that we are to wait on him, he comes at the seventh trump. Do not be deceived, do not fly away at the sixth trump, but wait. His anger is kindled, and he will pour out his wrath. They will pray for mountains to fall on them. That cup that Jesus asked to be passed from him will be poured out. The LORD will pour out the vials at the seventh trump. “For our God is a consuming fire”. Heb.12:29. Back to Rev.10 and verse 8 reads.
Rev.10:8] And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
Notice that he must “Take” the book, we should take and consume the book so that we know the Word of God.
Rev.10:9] And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
He wouldn’t just give the book it needed to be taken. We must want it, then it will be given to us abundantly. It will be bitter in our bellies for a reason. When you know the truth then you must teach the truth. Remember how it was for Ezekiel, he was told now go unto a rebellious house. This is how it is bitter to the belly, but in the end, it will be as sweet as honey.
Rev.10:10] And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
The word of God is so sweet in our mouths when we hear the truth, and it is so bitter when it is not received from us by our loved ones and friends. Do not fear, it was written for our admonition on who the ends of the world are come. 1Cor.10:11.
Rev.10:11] And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
Told by the angel now that he has the truth, he must prophesy, that means teach. Many peoples, many nations in many languages. We shall be delivered up to Satan to give our testimony of Jesus Christ, this is our destiny. Let’s go to his throne.
