We are going to back up to Matthew 24:32 and get the full meaning of today’s lesson. And hear what Jesus is saying, and learn “the parable of the fig tree”. Mat.24:32, and it reads.
Mat.24:32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
[33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
So Jesus just said “now learn” meaning we should know or take time to learn the parable. It is that important to understand the end times. For this we are going back to the beginning. And Gen.3:1 reads.
Gen.3:1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
[2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
[3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
The two trees in the midst of the garden were Christ and Satan.
Gen3:4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
[5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
[6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
It began in the garden, Eve laid with the Serpent (Satan), and did conceive, and his name was Cain. Adam also laid with Eve and she conceived by him also, and his name was Able. This is a fact. Go back to our study in Genesis where I lay out the Hebrew very clearly. Kenites are the offspring of Cain. Its in their name. Then we have the prophesy of Jeremiah in chapter 24, and it reads.
Jer.24:1] The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
[2] One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
[3] Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
This prophesy is for the end times. What we are learning is that the 6th. trump is compared to Nebechanezzer, the king of Babylon. When Judah went into captivity is the same as when Satan comes and the whole world is deceived. The two figs are Judah and the Kenites. “those that claim to be Jews but do lie and are the Synagoges of Satan”, Rev.2:9. back to Jeremiah and it reads.
Jer.24:4] Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
[5] Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
[6] For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
This happened in 1948, and Judah became a nation again. Never in the history of the world has a nation ceased to be and then came back to be. Israel is the only time in history this has happened.
Jer.24:7] And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
[8] And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
[9] And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.
[10] And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
The Kenites will parish with their father, Satan. And the good figs shall be called my people (Ami). And shall do well. Back to Matthew and it reads.
Mat.24:34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
[35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
Israel shall not pass away, talking about the nation. We know that 3 generations are given in Gods word, 40, 70, and 120. This does not mean that it must happen on one of these generations, but within. Israel will not cease to be a nation until all the prophesies come true. Also, this earth age shall pass, but his word will not.
Mat.24:36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
[37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Now He mentions the days of Noah, and of his ark. That it should be just like it. We know that the flood lasted 150 days, that’s 5 months. And that the flood was for the Naphiliam (the fallen angels) and their offspring, the giants. Let go to Revelations and read how the sixth trump comes in.
Rev.9:17] And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
[18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
Spiritually killed, deceived.
[19] For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
Now the flood in the end times come out of their mouths, it’s a flood of lies. Lies that deceive the whole world.
Mat.24:40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
[41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Don’t be taken first but stay working in the field, this world, for the first are deceived and worship the antichrist. If you read all of chapter 9 of Revelations you will find that they pray for mountains to fall on them. Its out of shame, when the true Christ returns at the 7th. trump.
Mat.24:42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
[43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
In Rev.3.3 we are told this warning.
Rev.3:3] Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Back to Matthew
Mat.24:44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
They don’t know because they think he is already here, and were deceived.
Mat.24:45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
[47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
He will give them meat, not milk. Let’s go to Hebrews 5:12-14 and read.
Heb.5:12] For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
[13] For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
[14] But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
So, milk is for babes, and meat is for us in the end times. We need to understand that Satan comes first and Christ comes last. If we understand this then we are the elect, and study Gods word. Not just reading, but studying. Jesus gives us much depth of his word. He is the beginning and the end. We need only to watch and keep that gospel armor on. Let’s read Rev.16:15.
Rev.16:15] Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
We will put on the gospel armor and stand for the Lord. Back to Matthew and it reads.
Mat.24:48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
[49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
[50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
[51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Let us not be that evil servant, but that good and faithful servant. Let’s go to his throne.
