A very deep study today, written for God’s Elect in these end times. Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 are all sister chapters in God’s Word. We find our destinies in these chapters. But, most importantly there is also written in John’s writings, not his gospel, but in the book of Revelation. Rev.6 is the chapter where he gives the Seven Seals to God’s Elect. So, let’s get started, Matthew 24 and verse 1 reads.
Mat.24:1] And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
[2] And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Many false teachers say this happened in 70 A.D. Not so, Jesus is speaking of the seventh trump, when he returns. Notice this word Thrown down. G2647 kataluō pronounced kat-al-oo’-o and means; to subvert, overthrow. Similar to the word G2602 from G2598 kataballō, the overthrow of Satan in the first earth age. The second advent will be the second overthrow of Satan. With that in mind let’s go to Zechariah 14 and verse 1 reads.
Zec.14:1] Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
[2] For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
[3] Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
[4] And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
[5] And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
Now Jesus will teach how it will be before he comes at the seventh trump, the second advent. Notice there will be no rapture. Jesus will give us the Seven Seals from Rev.6, keep these sealed in your forehead.
Mat.24:3] And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
They asked; what sign will be given and when will this earth age come to an end. This cannot be read any other way.
Mat.24:4] And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
[5] For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
Jesus gives us the first Seal. But let’s first go to the first epistle of John, 1John 4 and verse 1 reads.
1John 4:1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
[4] Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Many people today will call themselves Christians and Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Rev.2:9 and Rev.3:9. Now we just heard under what condition must be met, do not apologize for God’s Word. You will know them by their spirits. Let’s go to the first Seal, Rev.6 and verse 1 reads.
Rev.6:1] And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
[2] And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
This is Satan at the sixth trump. He says he is Christ but is the antichrist. Notice that he comes on a white horse, pretending to be Jesus. Now, let’s look at this word “Bow”, it is not the Shechinah Glory of the LORD, but we find it is G5115 Toxon pronounced tox’-on and means; a cheap fabric imitation. The first Seal is to know that antichrist comes before the true Christ. There will be no rapture, no one will fly away, except into Satan’s arms. They will be deceived. Back to Mat.24 and verse 6 reads.
Mat.24:6] And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
This is the second Seal, Rev.6 and verse 3 reads.
Rev.6:3] And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
[4] And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
This is the war horse, but remember Jesus said “But the end is not yet.” Back to Mat.24 and verse 7 reads.
Mat.24:7] For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
[8] All these are the beginning of sorrows.
This is the third Seal, let’s go back to Rev.6 and verse 5 reads.
Rev.6:5] And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
[6] And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
Remember, Amos 8 and verse 11 reads.
Amos 8:11] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
Now, it also said “The beginning of sorrows.” The last three trumps are called the Woe Trumps. Towards the end of the fifth trump, which we are living in today, the first beast is the one world order and receives its power from Satan. Back to Mat.24 and verse 9 reads.
Mat.24:9] Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
His name’s sake, Christians. Don’t overlook we are to be delivered up. This is our destiny, to be delivered up and have the Holy Spirit speak through us. To deny the Holy Spirit to speak through you would be the unpardonable sin, only God’s Elect can commit this sin. Let’s go to Luke 12 and verse 10 reads.
Luke 12:10] And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
[11] And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
[12] For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
And in Luke 21 we receive a little more information. And verse 17 reads.
Luke 21:17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.
[18] But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
[19] In your patience possess ye your souls.
When we are delivered up to give our testimony before them, then the Holy Spirit speaks through us. This is the Pentecost tongue that all people who spoke different languages understood in the language in which they were born, Acts 2. Only God can do this, this is the language of the Holy Spirit. Back to Mat.24 and verse 10 reads.
Mat.24:10] And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
They have never heard the Word of God, nor did they ever believe in God.
Mat.24:11] And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
They are in the churches today teaching false doctrine like the rapture theory. Do not overlook many shall rise and many shall be deceived.
Mat.24:12] And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
In these end times we see this all over the world today, especially in the western world. They will have no backbone to stop the invasion that has already taken over their countries. The same will happen to us here in America if we don’t wake up.
Mat.24:13] But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[14] And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
I am a little undecided on whether or not God’s Elect will be put to death after we give our testimony (witness). It is said that we will be delivered unto death. Hebrews 2:14 tells us Death is another name for the Devil, Satan. Above we read that they cannot touch a hair on our head. But, let’s look at these words Testimony and Witness. Both are G3144 martus or Martyr in the English and means; 1. those who after his example have proved the strength and genuineness of their faith in Christ by undergoing a violent death. Now after reading that, I have come to the conclusion what does it matter, our destiny was not to live afterwards, but to be used by the Holy Spirit to give one last chance for God’s children to hear the truth and repent because the true Christ comes quickly after the sixth trump. Rev.9:14.
Mat.24:15] When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
We find this in Daniel 9 and verse 27 reads.
Dan.9:27] And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
And in 2 Thessalonians 2 verse 3 reads.
2Thess.2:3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
[4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
Again, it says do not be deceived. The son of perdition is Satan, let no man tell you any different. Satan standing in Jerusalem claiming to be Christ, and does lie, is the antichrist. Now, we learned that Satan comes in the middle of the week, this week is given for the seven years of tribulation. Dividing the seven into two 3 ½ years periods. But Jesus will shorten this time in verse 22 of this chapter. We find in Rev.9:5,10 he shortened it from seven years to a five-month period. Dividing it between two 2 ½ months periods. Back to Mat.24 and verse 16 reads.
Mat.24:16] Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
Get out because when Jesus returns the only ones there will be those who still worship Satan. And when Jesus comes, it gets flattened, there will be no stone atop another.
Mat.24:17] Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
Who is on the house tops? His watchmen are, they will not need anything out of their houses because the time has come to an end.
Mat.24:18] Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
You won’t need a change of clothes because all will be changed into spiritual bodies at that moment. 1Cor.15:50-55.
Mat.24:19] And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
We are not talking about women being pregnant with child. We are talking about those who have the mark of the beast in their foreheads (worship the antichrist) or in their hand (do the works of the antichrist). Jesus just said woe to them.
Mat.24:20] But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
Flight in the winter is said for; don’t be taken out of season, speaking of being harvested. Neither on the sabbath day? Who is our Passover? Jesus became our Passover, 1Cor.5:7, what this is saying is don’t worship the antichrist. It is written throughout God’s Word how it will happen. Satan comes at the sixth trump and Christ comes at the seventh trump.
Mat.24:21] For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Notice it says from the beginning of the world, he is saying from the beginning of this world age. It is impossible to understand the end if you don’t understand the first 6 chapters of Genesis. Many false teachers from the pulpits today teach that this chapter was 70 A.D. Now, can any of them explain that verse? No, they can’t, and those teachers you need to stay away from, they are false teachers and liars of God’s Word. They are purposely deceiving those to believe a lie, to fly away or rapture. It is evil, and I won’t stand for those that are so evil to be in our churches today to get away with it.
Mat.24:22] And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
For the Elect’s sake he shortens it, or no flesh would be saved. This is the importance of the Elect’s destiny, to be delivered up to Satan and give their testimonies against Satan. We covered this above in Mat.24:15, we find our answer in Rev.9 and verse 4 reads.
Rev.9:4] And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
The Seals are the knowledge of God’s Word, they are in our foreheads, our minds. These may only hurt the men who do not have the knowledge of God’s Word sealed in their foreheads.
Rev.9:5] And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.
A lot of God’s Elect think that this says they won’t be killed for their testimonies. That is not what was just said, it said those without the Seal of God in their foreheads won’t be killed. Let’s look carefully here, these scorpions are a clue. How does a scorpion consume its prey? They addle them first with their stingers, then using the victims body they ingest their fluids into them because a scorpion has no stomach. The fluids turn everything into mush for them to consume. Turning their backbones to mush, we see this today. The locust army, Islamist, using terrorism to turn the world’s backbones to mush. Back to Mat.24 and verse 23 reads.
Mat.24:23] Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
If they say “here is Christ let’s fly away with him” believe it not, it is the antichrist.
Mat.24:24] For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
These shall come before the true Christ returns at the second advent, the seventh trump. These false prophets are the fallen angels that get kicked out of heaven with Satan. Rev.12 and verse 7 reads.
Rev.12:7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
We now have the sixth trump.
Rev.12:9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
[10] And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
That’s right, Satan is behind the throne and is accusing us of our sins day and night to the LORD.
Rev.12:11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
This is why I’m undecided on whether “Not a hair on our heads” means we won’t be killed for our testimony against Satan.
Rev.12:12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
Satan is mad as heck because he was just informed his time was shortened to two and a half months. Back to Mat.24 and verse 25 reads.
Mat.24:25] Behold, I have told you before.
Jesus is saying he has told us all things. The question is; have you read? It is written from Genesis through Revelation.
Mat.24:26] Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
Neither believe if they say he is in Jerusalem.
Mat.24:27] For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
As the sun rises in the east and goes down in the west, said for factually. God’s Word will happen exactly as it is written. As Jesus has been telling us here in Matthew 24.
Mat.24:28] For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
This word eagles should have been translated vultures. Why are there carcass’s? Because when Christ returns at the seventh trump (2 advent) all flesh bodies are turned (changed) into spiritual bodies. And yes, the flesh falls to the ground. Let’s go to 1Cor.15 and verse 50 reads.
1Cor.15:50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Speaking of those alive in the flesh at the coming of our LORD.
1Cor.15:52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
How many trumps are there? The answer is seven, I say this as more proof that there is no rapture. Back to Mat.24 and verse 29 reads.
Mat.24:29] Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
[30] And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
There are two tribulations, the first when Satan is here, the second when the true Christ returns. The sun and moon are darkened because of the brightness of the Glory of the LORD. Prophesied in Isaiah 13 and verse 9 reads.
Isa.13:9] Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it.
The day of the LORD begins at the seventh trump.
Isa.13:10] For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
[11] And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
They mourn for their shame and will pray for mountains to fall on them. Let’s cover the fifth and sixth Seal from Rev.6, we have been going through Mat.24 with so much information it’s hard to keep up. We’ll go back to the fifth Seal to begin with, verse 9 reads.
Rev.6:9] And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
This word testimony is G3144 Martyr from our study above. The Seals and the Trumps are lined up together now. The Seals are not in chronological order until now. The Trumps are all in chronological order.
Rev.6:10] And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
[11] And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Remember that the order given to scorpions was that they couldn’t kill those who had Not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Rev.6:12] And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
[13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
The coming of the antichrist is at hand, notice the figs, we’ll get to that in a few minutes.
Rev.6:14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
Satan was kicked out of heaven with his angels.
Rev.6:15] And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
[16] And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
[17] For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
No one, all knees will bow to the LORD. Back to Mat.24 and verse 31 reads.
Mat.24:31] And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
These four winds are taught in Eze.37, Dan.7 and Rev.7. This is the Elect’s job, to teach in the fifth trump and the fifth seal, the truth of God’s Word to all peoples. To be delivered up to Satan and give the testimony of Jesus Christ. His angels will first come to gather God’s Elect and bring them home. What a wonderful feeling for me. Let’s go to Ecclesiastes 12 and verse 6 reads.
Ecc.12:6] Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
In other words; when the flesh dies.
Ecc.12:7] Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.
That is so precious to me, a great comfort. Back to Mat.24 and verse 32 reads.
Mat.24:32] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
Jesus just told us to learn the parable of the fig tree. Remember Rev.6:13 from above. I said we would get to this in a minute. This is the parable of the fig tree. It began in the garden. Adam and Eve sewed together fig leaves to cover their nakedness, their sin. This is speaking specifically of Cain being born whose father was the serpent, Satan. Remember Rev.12 and verse 9 reads.
Rev.12:9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
The serpent is another name for Satan. What we have here is the knowledge of the woman’s seed and the serpent’s seed. Knowing who the Kenites are is very important. Let’s go to the parable of the fig tree, Jer.24 and verse 1 reads.
Jer.24:1] The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
The king of Babylon in the end times is Satan.
Jer.24:2] One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
The seed of the woman and the seed of the serpent. Mat.13 the parable of the Tares.
Jer.24:3] Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
God’s children and the Kenites. Kenites H7014 the sons (offspring) of Cain.
Jer.24:4] Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
[5] Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
They will go into captivity in the end times.
Jer.24:6] For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
Speaking of Israel becoming a nation again after being in captivity for their sins. Israel ceased being a nation soon after Christ was crucified. Never in the history of the world has a nation ceased to exist then became again, until Israel in 1948. This began the fig tree generation. Many people ask if it is a 40, 70 or a 120 yr. generation. If you think the 70 yr. generation which would be 2018, well, you are already wrong. But, if you look at that 70 yr. generation in Psalms 90 you find it really isn’t 70 yrs, but rather 80 yrs. making it 2028. Let’s look at that generation in Psa.90 and verse 9 reads.
Psa.90:9] For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
[10] The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Important to see that the fly away doctrine is brought up as being cut off. But, that the 70 years being 80 years with the strength and power of God.
Psa.90:11] Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
Jesus said this generation will not come to an end until all prophecy’s come to fulfillment. Back to the parable of the fig tree, Jer.24 and verse 7 reads.
Jer.24:7] And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
Elijah will turn their hearts back to their fathers, plural. Elijah being one of the sons of oil, or one of the two witnesses at the sixth trump.
Jer.24:8] And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
Speaking of Mystery Babylon in the end times, those who worship the antichrist and do his works, the Kenites.
Jer.24:9] And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places whither I shall drive them.
[10] And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
That is the Parable of the Fig Tree. There will be two figs, one good (of the woman’s seed) and the other evil (of that serpent’s seed). Back to Mat.24 and verse 33 reads.
Mat.24:33] So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
[34] Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
And here we have Jesus telling us it doesn’t matter which generation, that Israel itself won’t perish as a nation until all is fulfilled. But that the generation wasn’t about how many years, but rather about having both seeds, that of the woman and that of the serpent. We can look around today and see that there is a very wicked generation among us.
Mat.24:35] Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
[36] But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Nobody but the Father knows when exactly this will happen, but we are to know the season. Jesus just spent the last 36 verses explaining the signs and seals to show us what to look for. The last words Jesus said to his disciples were recorded in Acts 1:7-8, he told them that they wouldn’t know the season because it was not for them to see. He then told them an example about receiving the Holy Spirit. Let’s go to Acts 1 and verse 7 reads.
Acts 1:7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
[8] But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
This example is that the Holy Spirit would come to them in ten days (Pentecost). This will be our example when we are delivered up to Satan. The cloven tongue that everyone hears and understands in the language in which they were born. Back to Mat.24 and verse 37 reads.
Mat.24:37] But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
[38] For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
[39] And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
It will be just as the days of Noah. This is important because of the angels. The fallen angels came to seduce the women of Adam instead of being born of woman. Gen.6:1-6. They came to pollute the seed line that Christ would come through. Noah and his wife, their three sons and their wives are the eight souls that were saved by water. Let’s first go to Jude 6 and it reads.
Jude 6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
These fallen angels will be kicked out of heaven along with Satan at the sixth trump. Let’s go to Rev.12 and verse 7 reads.
Rev.12:7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Now let’s go to 1Cor.11 and verse 10 reads.
1Cor.11:10] For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.
This power is Jesus Christ. Another thing about this “In the days of Noah” is the flood was 150 days. That’s five months, Jesus told us above he has shortened the seven years of tribulation, and in Rev.9:5,10 we find out he shortened it to five months. Back to Mat.24 and verse 40 reads.
Mat.24:40] Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
The field is the world. They are working in the field. One is taken by the antichrist, the other remains in the field working. Do not be deceived and taken by the antichrist, but rather keep working because our jobs have just begun.
Mat.24:41] Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Both of these verses have been used by those who teach their congregation to fly away, as their proof of the rapture doctrine. It is a lie, and if anything this proves how evil it is to seduce God’s children away from him and his Word.
Mat.24:42] Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Watchmen watch, we know not when our True Christ comes, but we do know it is after Satan is here claiming to be Jesus, and not before.
Mat.24:43] But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
Just the knowledge of Satan coming first at the sixth trump, should be enough for his watchmen, his Elect.
Mat.24:44] Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
Those of us who understand Satan comes first will know what hour it is because we have read his Word. Let’s go to 2Thess.2 and verse 1 reads.
2Thess.2:1] Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
[2] That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
We have here in 2 Thessalonians the how and when, it will happen just before our Christ comes back at the second advent, the seventh trump.
2Thess.2:3] Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
Not until Satan comes saying he is Christ, do not be deceived.
2Thess.2:4] Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
[5] Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
[6] And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
[7] For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
The he that will letteth is Michael, he will kick Satan and his angels with him out of heaven onto the earth at the sixth trump.
2Thess.2:8] And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
[9] Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
[10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Those who worship the antichrist and did not read God’s Word above, and delighted in Satan and his wickedness. They will be damned. Back to Mat.24 and verse 45 reads.
Mat.24:45] Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
[46] Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
Whom the LORD shall find still working in the field when he returns is called a blessed servant. Let’s go to Rev.16 and verse 15 reads.
Rev.16:15] Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Back to Mat.24 and verse 47 reads.
Mat.24:47] Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
[48] But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
[49] And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
[50] The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
Because he thinks Jesus is already here, but was deceived.
Mat.24:51] And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
They will lose their salvation, but will still have the millennium. There you have it, Matthew 24. One of the most important chapters in God’s Word for his Elect to understand in these end times. Let’s go to his throne.
