In today’s study our titles are; Verses 1-11 Jesus forgives an adulterous. Verses 12-30 I Am the Light of the World. verse 31-47 Abrahams true descendants. Verses 48-59 Before was, I Am. I personally would title this chapter Jesus confronts the Kenites face to face. John 8 and verse 1 reads.

John 8:1] Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

Remember Jesus does not stay overnight in any city, he just left teaching in the synagogue in chapter 7 and comes to his favorite place just outside of Jerusalem.

John 8:2] And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

Jesus boldly goes back to the synagogue to teach again, when he left last the chief priest and rulers wanted to lay hands on him.

John 8:3] And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst,
[4] They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act.

Two problems to start off with. One, no one can put anyone to death except the Romans, for they are under Roman rule. Two, they have the woman, where is the man. If caught in the very act, both the woman and the man have committed adultery and need to be tried before any conviction. They are going to assume this is a matter of Deuteronomy 22 and verse 22 reads.

Deu.22:22] If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel.

Remember they caught the woman in the very act, where is the man. Back to John 8 and verse 5 reads.

John 8:5] Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou?

Here is the seventh commandment. Exodus 20 and verse 14 reads.

Exo.20:14] Thou shalt not commit adultery.

And Leviticus 20 and verse 10 reads.

Lev.20:10] And the man that committeth adultery with another man’s wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour’s wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.

But Numbers 5:5-31 applies. This is the law of jealousy. Find time to read and you will see that the woman is not stoned, but delivered unto the priest, and made to drink water with dust off the floor for a curse. Back to John 8 and verse 6 reads.

John 8:6] This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not.

These Pharisees have been trying to trip up the very Word of God. Let’s go to Matthew where they have tried it before. Matthew 22 and verse 15 reads.

Mat.22:15] Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk.

Nothing new under the sun. Jesus will do some writing himself in the dust, back to John 8 and verse 7 reads.

John 8:7] So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

Let’s go to Deuteronomy 17 and verse 6 reads.

Deu.17:6] At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
[7] The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.

He without sin cast the first stone, meaning they also needed to be a witness. Let’s go to Romans 2 for a warning to those that judge others, and verse 1 reads.

Rom.2:1] Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
[2] But we are sure that the judgment of God is according to truth against them which commit such things.
[3] And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

Back to John 8 and verse 8 reads.

John 8:8] And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground.

Many people wonder what it was that Jesus wrote on the ground. It’s simple, he wrote everyone’s sins that brought the woman before him. Funny how Jesus would start at the eldest and work his way down without knowing them publicly.

John 8:9] And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.

Their own convictions sent them away with shame, and would hope no one would know their sins.

John 8:10] When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
[11] She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Let’s go to John 3 and verse 17 reads.

John 3:17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

And 2Peter 3 and verse 9 reads.

2Pet.3:9] The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Now Jesus will turn back to the people in the temple. Back to John 8 and verse 12 reads.

John 8:12] Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Let’s go back to John 1 and verse 4 reads.

John 1:4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

These verses are perfect for this study today, as Jesus would be speaking directly to the Kenites in a few minutes. Jesus is the Light of the world is said for another specific reason. Let’s go to Genesis 1 and verse 3 and it reads.

Gen.1:3] And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
[4] And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Spiritually speaking, we know them by their spirit.

Gen.1:5] And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.

The first day of this world age. God created this second earth age for Salvation. Now let’s go ahead to John 9 and verse 5 reads.

John 9:5] As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

Now the prophecy of this Light is in Isaiah 9 and verse 2 reads.

Isa.9:2] The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Remember John 1 and verse 14 reads.

John 1:14] And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

And this Light will shine from within you for the whole world to see and be witness of you. Back to John 8 and verse 13 reads.

John 8:13] The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.

What about all the miracles, healings and casting out of evil spirits. Did not they themselves witness them? Yes, but these Pharisees are Kenites. I have been talking for a long time about Kenites. From this verse on Jesus will be talking to the Kenites and calling them what they are boldly to their faces.

John 8:14] Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
[15] Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.

Above we just read the warning given to those who judge others in the flesh. Rom.2:1-3. And also read John 3:17 that Jesus came for Salvation through repentance.

John 8:16] And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

In the flesh Jesus was Emmanuel, God with us. Isa.7:14, Mat.1:23. Jesus and God are one, and wherever the two are there is the Spirit. This is the Trinity. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

John 8:17] It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.

Remember Deuteronomy 17 and verse 6 reads.

Deu.17:6] At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Let’s go to 2Corinthians 13 and verse 1 reads.

2Cor.13:1] This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

And Hebrews 10 and verse 28 reads.

Heb.10:28] He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
[29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Back to John 8 and verse 18 reads.

John 8:18] I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.

Cannot get better witnesses than these two.

John 8:19] Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
[20] These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.

Jesus is still teaching boldly in the temple. An example for God’s Elect when delivered up to Satan in the end times.

John 8:21] Then said Jesus again unto them, I go my way, and ye shall seek me, and shall die in your sins: whither I go, ye cannot come.

Jesus just convicted and sentenced these Kenites to death.

John 8:22] Then said the Jews, Will he kill himself? because he saith, Whither I go, ye cannot come.
[23] And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.

God’s Elect, pay attention. Written as your example for these end times. 1Cor.10:11. We are also not of this world, but by the law of being born of water, from above, we come to testify of Jesus Christ. Let’s go to the epistle of John, 1John 4 and verse 1 reads.

1John 4:1] Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
[2] Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
[3] And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
[4] Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
[5] They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
[6] We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

We know them by their spirits, whether they be good or evil. Back to John 8 and verse 24 reads.

John 8:24] I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.

Jesus just gave his Holy name, I Am.

John 8:25] Then said they unto him, Who art thou? And Jesus saith unto them, Even the same that I said unto you from the beginning.

Remember they are trying to catch Jesus in his words so they might use it against him.

John 8:26] I have many things to say and to judge of you: but he that sent me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I have heard of him.
[27] They understood not that he spake to them of the Father.

Jesus came in the flesh for Salvation, but is talking about judgement here. Speaking of when he is at the right hand of the Father. Pay attention now.

John 8:28] Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father hath taught me, I speak these things.

As Moses lifted up the serpent on the pole, so shall the Son of man be lifted up. Let’s go to Numbers 21 and verse 8 reads.

Num.21:8] And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
[9] And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.

The children of Israel had sinned against the Father was the reason for the serpents that bit and killed the children of Israel. Now, this serpent of brass on the pole was destroyed by king Hezekiah in 2Kings 18 and verse 4 reads.

2Kings 18:4] He removed the high places, and brake the images, and cut down the groves, and brake in pieces the brasen serpent that Moses had made: for unto those days the children of Israel did burn incense to it: and he called it Nehushtan.

Notice he also destroyed the groves, Ishtar or Easter. Back to John 8 and verse 29 reads.

John 8:29] And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
[30] As he spake these words, many believed on him.

Remember he is in the temple where all the people can listen to this conversation between him and the Kenites. But, these Kenites will not be able to hear him. They have no ears to hear.

John 8:31] Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
[32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Jesus is the Living Word, it is his Word (Truth) that makes us free. This is better said, especially for this study today, in Revelation. Speaking to the church of Philadelphia in Revelation 3 and verse 7 reads.

Rev.3:7] And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

The Key of David is a two sided coin. On one side, we have the genealogy of Jesus Christ and on the other side we have the genealogy of the serpent’s seed, the Kenites. Notice the open and shut, we are speaking of eyes to see and ears to hear.

Rev.3:8] I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
[9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Again, the open and shut, speaking of our spiritual eyes being opened because of studying his Word. At the second advent, all knees will bow. The Kenites are behind you, thus at your feet.

Rev.3:10] Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
[11] Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
[12] Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
[13] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Now let’s go to James 1 and verse 22 reads.

James 1:22] But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
[23] For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
[24] For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
[25] But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
[26] If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.

The perfect law of liberty gives us the blessing of our deeds. This is given to God’s Elect in these days, for he is our Comforter. Back to Jesus turning now to the Kenites. John 8 and verse 33 reads.

John 8:33] They answered him, We be Abraham’s seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

What? Were not their fathers in bondage for 400 years in Egypt. And also for 70 years in Babylon. How can they say this? Because they are Kenites, who claim to be Jews but are the synagogue of Satan. They claim to sit in the seat of Moses, but haven’t read Exodus.

John 8:34] Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
[35] And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
[36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Free of sin through repentance. When we repent and are forgiven, then our sins are blotted out. They don’t exist anymore, as if they never happened. This is being free indeed. Let’s go to Romans 8 and verse 1 reads.

Rom.8:1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Now let’s go to 2Corinthians 3 and verse 17 reads.

2Cor.3:17] Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Jesus will now speak boldly to these Kenites. Back to John 8 and verse 37 reads.

John 8:37] I know that ye are Abraham’s seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

Abraham means; father of many nations. But Jesus says they are seeking to kill him because his Word is not in them. These are Kenites, offspring of Cain the first murderer.

John 8:38] I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

Very important to see the differences between the fathers. The one that is uppercase is God our Father. The other is lowercase for Satan, that serpent from the garden.

John 8:39] They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
[40] But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

This is that Key of David, remember it is a two sided coin. The genealogy of Jesus on one side, and the genealogy of Cain on the other. Gen.3,4 and 5.

John 8:41] Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

The deeds of Cain are murder. They are seeking to kill Jesus.

John 8:42] Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
[43] Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

The LORD has closed their eyes and ears to the truth, his Word. Now Jesus calls them out on who they really are, pay attention.

John 8:44] Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Your father the devil, of that wicked one, the Serpent, the dragon, Satan. From the garden when he seduced mother Eve. And Cain was his child, and the offspring of Cain are called Kenites. This is why I am so angry with the churches that teach our children that Eve ate an apple. It is a lie and deceives so many. How come you were never taught this before? I thank God that judgement begins at the pulpit. 1Pet.4:17. Rev.2:9 and 3:9 tells us they will be back again just before the sixth trump. In 1Chronicles 2:55 they brought the Kenites right into the house of God for scribes. In Matthew 13:35-39 they are called Tares, as we learned they are the Serpent’s Seed. Back to John and verse 45 reads.

John 8:45] And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

We find today we cannot talk scriptures with many people because they were never taught the truth.

John 8:46] Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

Was it that I healed or cast out devils, What?

John 8:47] He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

Jesus just told them they are not of God.

John 8:48] Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

Did they just resort to name calling? We see this today in our own streets or on the media outlets. They will call us what they truly are; such as Nazis. Know the spirits.

John 8:49] Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my Father, and ye do dishonour me.
[50] And I seek not mine own glory: there is one that seeketh and judgeth.

Let’s go to Philippians 2 and verse 6 reads.

Phi.2:6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
[9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
[10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
[11] And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Back to John 8 and verse 51 reads.

John 8:51] Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.
[52] Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.
[53] Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?

Did not the Kenites kill all the prophets from righteous Abel to Zacharias who they killed between the porch and the altar? And did we not read in Luke 16 about the two sides of the gulf of paradise. Was not Abraham alive and well when he held Lazareth in his bosom.

John 8:54] Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God:

Let’s go to Acts 3 and verse 13 reads.

Acts 3:13] The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go.
[14] But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

They said deliver to us Barabbas, a Kenite, and crucify Jesus.

Acts 3:15] And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.

Back to John 8 and verse 55 reads.

John 8:55] Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know him, and keep his saying.

Jesus straight up called them liars to their faces. Boldly teach the Word of God and apologize for nothing.

John 8:56] Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.

Let’s go to Genesis 14 and verse 18 reads.

Gen.14:18] And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God.
[19] And he blessed him, and said, Blessed be Abram of the most high God, possessor of heaven and earth:
[20] And blessed be the most high God, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. And he gave him tithes of all.

Melchizedek was and is Jesus Christ, let’s break his name down. Melchi means; King. It is a Greek word, the Hebrew word for king was Melek. This shows that even in the days of Moses Christ would be King. The other word Zedek is a Hebrew word that means; righteous, of Davidic king, Messiah. What we have is KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.        Back to John 8 and verse 57 reads.

John 8:57] Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
[58] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.

Jesus said his Holy name again, I Am. This will drive these Kenites absolutely crazy. Let’s go to Hebrews 7 and verse 1 reads.

Heb.7:1] For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
[2] To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
[3] Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.

I would say Abraham knew Jesus very well. Back to John 8 and verse 59 reads.

John 8:59] Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

Remember these Kenites killed all the prophets from righteous Abel to Zacharias, and I will also add John the Baptist. Now they have the heir before them. Remember the parable of the vineyard in Matthew 21 and verse 34 reads.

Mat.21:34] And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.
[35] And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.
[36] Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.
[37] But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.
[38] But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.
[39] And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

These are the same chief priests and Pharisees that Jesus is speaking to in John 8, see how they acted in Matthew 21 and verse 45 reads.

Mat.21:45] And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.
[46] But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

It drives them crazy when they realize the Son of God is standing before them. Great chapter today, let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
