We have come to about 734 B.C. Verses 1-7 is said to be the birth of the Prince of Peace. Verses 8-21 is the Lord’s anger against Israel. With that, Isa.9 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.9:1] Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
Remember prophecy is for then, the near future, then as a like for us in the end times. Now it is said that after they were freed after their captivity to Assyria and the ten tribes went over the Caucasus mountains that Zebulon settled in Poland, and Naphtali settled in Norway.
Isa.9:2] The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
Let’s go to Mat.4 and pick it up with verse 12 and it reads.
Mat.4:12] Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
When they cast John the Baptist in prison.
Mat.4:13] And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:
[14] That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
[15] The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;
[16] The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.
[17] From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Isaiah prophesied in verses 1 and 2 of this chapter, then Jesus would refer to him while he, the Light, was standing there. Verse 16 should give a great comfort for the end times, for we will be surrounded by evil while being delivered up to Satan. The Light, Jesus Christ will be with us and speak through us. Back to Isa.9 and verse 3 reads.
Isa.9:3] Thou hast multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
The word nation here is said for the gentile nations, not of Israel. As when Sisera’s mother waited for him after his temples were nailed to the ground by a woman. Judges 5:30.
Isa.9:4] For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
Speaking here of the Sword of the LORD and of Gideon. Gideon had tens of thousands, and the LORD said no, that’s too many. Then Gideon cut it to ten thousand, but the LORD said no, that’s too many. Then Gideon cut it down to only three hundred and the LORD gave the enemy into their hands. Judges 7. This is called faith.
Isa.9:5] For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
When the LORD is with us, he will deliver our enemies into our hands. With a burning and fuel for fire? For our God is a consuming fire. Heb.12:29.
Isa.9:6] For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Mat.1:23 and Isa.7:14, a virgin shall conceive and you will call him Immanuel, God with us. Now, when the government shall be upon his shoulder will be at the seventh trump, and there will be no peace until then. We fight not against flesh but principalities. We stand, not fly away or run, we put that gospel armor on and stand.
Isa.9:7] Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.
This will be after the millennium, and after the great white throne judgement. Forever and ever, Amen. Now we have from 8-21 the Lord’s anger being kindled against Israel.
Isa.9:8] The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it hath lighted upon Israel.
The Lord talked and wrestled with Jacob, let’s go to Gen.32 and pick it up with verse 26 and it reads.
Gen.32:26] And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
[27] And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
[28] And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
Has prevailed with God and not against God. Jacob’s name became Israel here. Let’s look at these names. Jacob is H3290 Yaʻăqôb in Hebrew and pronounced yah-ak-obe’. And means; heel catcher or supplanter. We can see the LORD’s name in his name. And Israel is H3478 Yisrâʼêl, pronounced yis-raw-ale’. And means; God prevails. Jacob or Israel would become the patriarch of the twelve tribes who would become the nation of Israel until the death of king Solomon. Then the ten tribes after the split would keep the name but be referred to as Ephriam. They went into captivity for two hundred years to Assyria, being released over the Caucasus mountains, being called Caucasian for the first time and settled into Europe and eventually migrating to the Americas. This is the truth that we as Americans have forgotten, that we are Israel and our founding fathers knew this, just look at the first Great Seal of America. It depicts Moses and the crossing of the Red Sea. It has twelve stars, one for each tribe. Keeping in perspective of Isaiah’s prophecies for the end times, this truth needs to be known. Back to Isa.9 and verse 9 reads.
Isa.9:9] And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
[10] The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
Let’s go to Malachi and see about these stubborn people that will build back better. Mal.1 and verse 1 reads.
Mal.1:1] The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
[2] I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
[3] And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
Jacob is America, Esau is Russia. They are brothers of their father Isaac. This word dragons was mistranslated and should have said Jackals. But, let’s not overlook what I said, we are talking about America and Russia. Esau sold his inheritance for a bowl of pottage. Meaning he didn’t love the LORD. The Lord hates Esau from the first earth age.
Mal.1:4] Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
[5] And your eyes shall see, and ye shall say, The LORD will be magnified from the border of Israel.
Edom is Esau, Edom means red, these would be the communist of today and at the end times that become the one world order. Back to Isa.9 and verse 11 reads.
Isa.9:11] Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him, and join his enemies together;
[12] The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
The LORD wants Israel to come back to him. We see today that many are coming back to him, but are being deceived to worship the antichrist by flying away. These things must happen and the Lord’s word must come to pass exactly as it is written.
Isa.9:13] For the people turneth not unto him that smiteth them, neither do they seek the LORD of hosts.
They don’t like discipline. Let’s go to Jer.5 and verse 3 reads.
Jer.5:3] O LORD, are not thine eyes upon the truth? thou hast stricken them, but they have not grieved; thou hast consumed them, but they have refused to receive correction: they have made their faces harder than a rock; they have refused to return.
And in Hosea 7 verse 10 reads.
Hos.7:10] And the pride of Israel testifieth to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
[11] Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart: they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.
What happened then will happen again, but God’s elect will know him and stand for him. Back to Isa.9 and verse 14 reads.
Isa.9:14] Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and rush, in one day.
Let’s read this very closely. He explains it himself.
Isa.9:15] The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.
We have the ancient and honorable, they are written here for our admonition. Meaning the prophets like Isaiah and Jeremiah, but their words cannot be understood. Because the false teachers in the churches today do not teach, instead they lie and say “You don’t have to understand, we’re going to fly away.”
Isa.9:16] For the leaders of this people cause them to err; and they that are led of them are destroyed.
They are deceived because they won’t read God’s word for themselves. Always pray, and ask God for understanding, he will open doors that no man can shut.
Isa.9:17] Therefore the Lord shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and an evildoer, and every mouth speaketh folly. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
But his hand is stretched out still means prophecy is for a like again and again. Jesus taught this boldly when the scribes and Pharisees came to him, let’s go to Mat.15 and pick it up with verse 1 and it reads.
Mat.15:1] Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
[2] Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
Traditions of men make void the word of God.
Mat.15:3] But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
It is God’s word that counts, not mans.
Mat.15:4] For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
[5] But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
This gift is called Corben. In other words it is to take the money that would support your father and mother and give it to the synagogue or church.
Mat.15:6] And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
[7] Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
Esaias is Isaiah in the Greek.
Mat.15:8] This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
[9] But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
They should have been teaching the commandments of God.
Mat.15:10] And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
[11] Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
[12] Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
[13] But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
Think of the parable of the Tares. He is saying that they were Kenites.
Mat.15:14] Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
Back to Isa.9 and verse 18 reads.
Isa.9:18] For wickedness burneth as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns, and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like the lifting up of smoke.
Take time to study Psalms 83, you will find it easy after this chapter in Isaiah. But I want to go now to Malachi 4, and pick it up with verse 1 and it reads.
Mal.4:1] For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But for those of us who trust in the LORD he continues.
Mal.4:2] But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
[3] And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
In that day is the Lord’s Day. What all prophecies lead to. Back to Isa.9 and verse 19 reads.
Isa.9:19] Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
[20] And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man the flesh of his own arm:
Civil war does this, whether it be a family or a nation. Let’s go to Micah and read chapter 7 and pick it up with verse 2 and it reads.
Mic.7:2] The good man is perished out of the earth: and there is none upright among men: they all lie in wait for blood; they hunt every man his brother with a net.
[3] That they may do evil with both hands earnestly, the prince asketh, and the judge asketh for a reward; and the great man, he uttereth his mischievous desire: so they wrap it up.
Speaking how people become corrupt and do evil.
Mic.7:4] The best of them is as a brier: the most upright is sharper than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen and thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity.
We know how thorns and briers burn quickly. Kenites.
Mic.7:5] Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom.
[6] For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house.
Jesus told us of these things in Mark 13 and Matthew 24.
Mic.7:7] Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.
This is why we wait for the seventh trump while the whole world whores after the antichrist at the sixth trump. Back to Isa.9 and verse 21 reads.
Isa.9:21] Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
They will not prevail against Judah at that time when they are confederate with Syria. But, let’s look at the end times. We see today that many of the Christian nations today are siding with Hamas over the Gaza conflict. This is sad but it is written that it will happen. America is the only one standing up for Israel (Judah) today, and we will prevail with God. Let’s go to his throne.
