In chapter 5 today we can, as usual, separate the chapter into two subjects. Verse 1-7 can be called “a parable of the vineyard”, this parable is equal to the parable of the fig tree. And verses 8-30 are woes pronounced on the faithless, comparable to the sixth trump. Isa.5 and verse 1 reads.

Isa.5:1] Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:

God sees his children as vines and Christ as the Branch. Let’s go to Psalms 80 and pick it up with verse 7 and it reads.

Psa.80:7] Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
[8] Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.
[9] Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.

They never had to dig wells in the promised land, or plant vineyards or orchards. God provided everything. Jesus also gave us a parable concerning the vineyard, let’s go to Mark 12 and verse 1 reads.

Mark 12:1] And he began to speak unto them by parables. A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country.

The LORD provided everything that was needed for them, and then sat back and watched.

Mark 12:2] And at the season he sent to the husbandmen a servant, that he might receive from the husbandmen of the fruit of the vineyard.
[3] And they caught him, and beat him, and sent him away empty.

Jesus will explain it is the prophets that are sent to warn the children of Israel of their sins and will be killed by the Kenites, listen closely.

Mark 12:4] And again he sent unto them another servant; and at him they cast stones, and wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully handled.
[5] And again he sent another; and him they killed, and many others; beating some, and killing some.

All the prophets from righteous Abel to Zacharias whom they killed between the porch and the altar. But now the LORD sends his Son.

Mark 12:6] Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son.
[7] But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be ours.
[8] And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

They cast Christ out of the vineyard, Jerusalem.

Mark 12:9] What shall therefore the lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.

At the seventh trump, Jerusalem shall be cleansed. Back to Isa.5 and verse 2 reads.

Isa.5:2] And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes.

Check out these wild grapes, they are a poisonous grape, the grapes are supposed to be fruits of the vine. In the parable of the Tares, Mat.13, we learned that these are Kenites. As it was the Kenites that killed all the prophets from righteous Abel to Zacharias.

Isa.5:3] And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard.
[4] What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth wild grapes?

He is saying “What more could I have done”, he led them out of Egypt, with a cloud by day and fire by night. He provided a land full of milk and honey, where they did not have to plant, just take in the bounty.

Isa.5:5] And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down:

He will let them go to the antichrist at the sixth trump., and they will be a desolation.

Isa.5:6] And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no rain upon it.

There will be a famine in the land. Amos 8:11 reads.

Amos 8:11] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Back to Isa.5 and verse 7 reads.

Isa.5:7] For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression; for righteousness, but behold a cry.

That completes the parable of the vineyard, like the Parable of the Fig Tree, it is also talking about the Kenites in the end times. Now, we come to six Woes.

Isa.5:8] Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!

Our large cities are full of violence, Cain, being the first murderer, and his offspring are called Kenites.

Isa.5:9] In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Of a truth many houses shall be desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.

Foreclosure after foreclosure, marking the end times.

Isa.5:10] Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an homer shall yield an ephah.

Your store houses are bare, your fields will not produce as they did when God’s children knew him. On with the next woe.

Isa.5:11] Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

Let’s get some wisdom, let’s go to Proverbs 23 and pick it up with verse 29 and it reads.

Prov.23:29] Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes?
[30] They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.

Those that abuse alcohol seem to be far from God. And those who abuse drugs are no different. Back to Isa.5 and verse 12 continues.

Isa.5:12] And the harp, and the viol, the tabret, and pipe, and wine, are in their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the operation of his hands.

They have idol hands and do not the work for the LORD. Let’s go to Psalms 28 and pick it up with verse 4 and it reads.

Psa.28:4] Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
[5] Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

This woe continues, Isa.5 and verse 13 reads.

Isa.5:13Isaiah 5

[5] Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

This woe continues, Isa.5 and verse 13 reads.

Isa.5:13] Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.

Remember Amos 8:11, “The famine in the end times is not for bread or water, but for hearing the word of the LORD” without the Word of the LORD we go into captivity. As the house of Judah went into captivity so will we in these end times. Let’s go to 2Kings 24 and pick it up with verse 14 and it reads.

2K.24:14] And he carried away all Jerusalem, and all the princes, and all the mighty men of valour, even ten thousand captives, and all the craftsmen and smiths: none remained, save the poorest sort of the people of the land.
[15] And he carried away Jehoiachin to Babylon, and the king’s mother, and the king’s wives, and his officers, and the mighty of the land, those carried he into captivity from Jerusalem to Babylon.
[16] And all the men of might, even seven thousand, and craftsmen and smiths a thousand, all that were strong and apt for war, even them the king of Babylon brought captive to Babylon.

Into captivity we go, even the elect with them, for we have a destiny. Babylon means confusion, and we know that Satan is the king of Babylon for the end times. Back to Isa.5 and verse 14 reads.

Isa.5:14] Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.
[15] And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:

There is room in hell for all that hate the LORD, all who are deceived and worship the antichrist. Some just sit home and do nothing, they sit in captivity. They do not regard the Word of the LORD.

Isa.5:16] But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.

The LORD shall not be mocked. Peter spoke of his holiness in 1Pet.1 and verse 15 reads.

1Pet.1:15] But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

Peter is speaking here to his elect.

1Pet.1:16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
[17] And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
[18] Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
[19] But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:

Father has no favorites. Don’t overlook that we are judged by our Works. Back to Isa.5 and verse 17 reads.

Isa.5:17] Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of the fat ones shall strangers eat.

You might be taken out of season if you are not in the sheep cot of Jesus Christ. Now, another woe.

Isa.5:18] Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:

They have so much sin it takes a cart to carry it all.

Isa.5:19] That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!

They say, Come and show us your real LORD, don’t worry he will at the appointed time. That woe comes with wrath and vials. Now, another woe.

Isa.5:20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Those that have turned this world upside down will feel the cup of wrath when it is poured out at the seventh trump. These were responsible for deceiving the whole world.

Isa.5:21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!

They say they know God but have never studied his word. They think they are saved but will pray for mountains to fall on them.

Isa.5:22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

They are only tough when they have strong drinks. This is talking about those who are false teachers, the wine here is for the blood of Christ. False prophets in our churches today.

Isa.5:23] Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!

Let’s go to proverbs 17 and verse 15 reads.

Prov.17:15] He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD.

That woe was an abomination to the LORD. Beware those who teach the rapture doctrine. Back to Isa.5 and verse 24 reads.

Isa.5:24] Therefore as the fire devoureth the stubble, and the flame consumeth the chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel.

Because they cast away the law and word of God. Let no man tell you that the law was done away with, it is a lie. Jesus would tell us in Mat.5 and verse 17 reads.

Mat.5:17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

If you don’t know God’s word, then how will you not be deceived in the end times. Satan and his children are counting on you to be illiterate in these times. You can see how evil it is to say we are no longer under law and it leads God’s children right into Satan’s lap. Back to Isa.5 and verse 25 continues.

Isa.5:25] Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand against them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

We are brought unto the sixth trump here. These prophecies will come to pass exactly as it is written.

Isa.5:26] And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from far, and will hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with speed swiftly:

To those that worship the beasts. The one world system and antichrist. This here would be the four winds. The seventh trump comes quickly after the sixth.

Isa.5:27] None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken:

Their enemies shall not sleep.

Isa.5:28] Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
[29] Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions: yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe, and none shall deliver it.

Find time to study Rev.9 if you haven’t already.

Isa.5:30] And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light is darkened in the heavens thereof.

At the sixth trump the world is darkened by Satan claiming to be Jesus. Let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.

KJV along with The New Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance of The Bible] Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
