The Lord’s wrath upon the nations. Isaiah 34 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.34:1] Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
Come and hear everyone, all peoples and tongues of the world.
Isa.34:2] For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
The LORD is furious with the one world order. This is the first beast of Revelation, which receives its power from Satan. Let’s go to Rev.9 and verse 18 reads.
Rev.9:18] By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
[19] For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
They are spiritually dead because of the lies which come out of their mouths. No different from the flood of lies which come out of the mouth of the second beast, Satan. We learn how next, because they will not repent.
Rev.9:20] And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
[21] Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
The LORD has reason to be angry with them. Back to Isa.34 and verse 3 reads.
Isa.34:3] Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
Sounds gross but those who are alive and remain will be turned into their spiritual bodies at the seventh trump. Let’s go to Joel 2 and verse 20 reads.
Joel 2:20] But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
Another place I want to go to is Amos 4 and verse 10 reads.
Amos 4:10] I have sent among you the pestilence after the manner of Egypt: your young men have I slain with the sword, and have taken away your horses; and I have made the stink of your camps to come up unto your nostrils: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the LORD.
We can see the pattern here that angers the LORD, they won’t return back to him nor repent. Now let’s go to 1Cor.15:50 and Paul is teaching here, and it reads.
1Cor.15:50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Flesh cannot enter into heaven.
1Cor.15:51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Some are here in the flesh when the second advent happens, but they will be changed into their spiritual body.
1Cor.15:52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
At the seventh trump all who are here in the flesh shall be changed into their spiritual bodies. Read my study in Topical Teachings titled “Two Bodies”. Back to Isa.34 and verse 4 reads.
Isa.34:4] And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
Let’s go to Rev.6 and verse 12 reads.
Rev.6:12] And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
[13] And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
[14] And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
God’s word will never change, his word is everlasting. We know now we are talking about the sixth seal, when Satan comes claiming to be Jesus. Back to Isa.34 and verse 5 reads.
Isa.34:5] For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
We will begin with this word “Idumea” H123 and is ʼĔdôm, Edom are the descendants of Esau, Jacobs twin brother. Edom means; Red. They are the communist government of today’s Russia. A very important understanding and knowledge to have in these end times. Prophesied in Eze.38 and 39 that they will come against Israel, America in these end times.
Isa.34:6] The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
Bozrah means; fortress. Let verse 6 read; the fortress of Edom, Russia, be filled with the word of God, for those who refuse to hear, let it slay them that hate the LORD.
Isa.34:7] And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
Obviously, there is no such thing as a unicorn. This is the perfect example of why you should have a Strong’s Concordance. H7214 means; wild ox or wild bull.
Isa.34:8] For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
Let’s go to Luke 21, one of the chapters where Jesus teaches us how it will happen in the end times. Verse 20 reads.
Luke 21:20] And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.
[21] Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
[22] For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
Another place we find just how important it is to know and understand the prophets. Remember when Jesus picked up the scroll in the synagogue and began to teach. Luke 4 and verse 17 reads.
Luke 4:17] And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,
[18] The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
[19] To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Pay attention here, after Lord it has a period. Because at that moment Isaiah’s prophecy had come to pass, but not all. Let’s finish this teaching by Jesus.
Luke 4:20] And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.
[21] And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
But let’s go to Isa. 61 and read all of the scripture that Jesus was teaching so that we get a better understanding. Isa.61 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.61:1] The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
All these things had Jesus fulfilled. Now pay close attention, this is the scripture that Jesus was quoting.
Isa.61:2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
After the LORD it is a comma and not a period. Right here we have both Advents, Jesus proclaiming the acceptable year is the first advent, the day of vengeance is the second advent. So, when Jesus quoted this scripture only the first advent had been fulfilled so he left off after the comma for us to know that the day of vengeance was still to come.
Isa.61:3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
For our comfort was this written, so that we know when the times are at hand. Back to Isa.34 and verse 9 reads.
Isa.34:9] And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
Let’s go to Psalms 11 and verse 5 reads.
Psa.11:5] The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
[6] Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
[7] For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.
The LORD does hate evil. They will certainly go into the lake of fire and brimstone, this is the second death. You see, they could have read his word and loved the LORD. But they chose to hate the LORD and love violence. Back to Isa.34 and verse 10 reads.
Isa.34:10] It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
We see here what some call hell, but is death. Let’s go to Rev.14 and verse 9 reads.
Rev.14:9] And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
[10] The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
[11] And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Notice that the only thing that remains of them is smoke, that is nothing. And Rev.19 and verse 2 reads.
Rev.19:2] For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
[3] And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
Let’s now go to Malachi and get a really good summary of what we just studied. Mal.1 and verse 2 reads.
Mal.1:2] I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob’s brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
[3] And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.
[4] Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.
The wicked will receive the cup of wrath, and double to Mystery Babylon the harlot. Back to Isa.34 and verse 11 reads.
Isa.34:11] But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
This word emptiness is; H922 bôhûw pronounced bo’-hoo. And means; an undistinguishable ruin, void, emptied as waste. All the animals were given for examples of being very unclean. Don’t overlook confusion, God does this to them. Let’s go to 2Thes.2 and verse 10 reads.
2Thes.2:10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
[11] And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
[12] That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Back to Isa.34 and verse 12 reads.
Isa.34:12] They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.
Those who followed Satan, up in smoke, none remain.
Isa.34:13] And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
Fortress here is Bozrah. Dragons would have been better translated jackals, and the owls for unclean.
Isa.34:14] The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
There shall be much meat for the fowls of heaven to feast on when all are turned to spiritual bodies at the seventh trump.
Isa.34:15] There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
The earth will be cleansed by the fowls of the air after the Day of the LORD.
Isa.34:16] Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
Still speaking here of the fowls of heaven having their feast. Don’t overlook “Seek you out of the book of the LORD,” all that is written will happen exactly as written. Let’s go to Mal.3 and verse 16 reads.
Mal.3:16] Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Fear is Revered, loved. Back to Isa.34 and verse 17 reads.
Isa.34:17] And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
The LORD is our inheritance. Let’s go to Eze.44 and verse 28 reads.
Eze.44:28] And it shall be unto them for an inheritance: I am their inheritance: and ye shall give them no possession in Israel: I am their possession.
Speaking of God’s elect, the LORD is our possession. We won’t need lots for us in Israel, because the whole world is our possession. Awesome chapter, let’s go to his throne.
