Today in Isaiah we will have verses 1-4 for the Lord’s Day, and verses 5-22 are for judgement for the proud. With that Isa. 2 and verse 1 reads.

Isa.2:1] the word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.

Again, this is concerning Judah and Jerusalem. Putting a geographical location to a specific place and time.

Isa.2:2] And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

This would be Mount Zion, have you ever been called a Zionist? They normally don’t say it as a compliment. But, by our studies, we know this is Jerusalem in the end times, more specifically, after the seventh trump when the LORD straightens everything out. Let’s go to Micah 4 and pick it up with verse 1 and it reads.

Mic.4:1] But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
[2] And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
[3] And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

And I say “Come, LORD Jesus come”. Back to Isa.2 and verse 3 reads.

Isa.2:3] And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
[4] And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

I went to Micah to show you that both of them wrote the exact same thing. Why? Was not God the author of all that is written in His Word. And are not both Isaiah and Micah prophets sent by God. Both were given the Word to give to others and both books are second witnesses for each other. I have been going back and forth from Old to New Testaments to show how God’s word always has a second witness. Those first 4 verses were for the coming of the LORD at the seventh trump. Now from verses 5 to the end is judgement for the proud and also for the seventh trump at the end times.

Isa.2:5] O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.

Let’s go to John 1 and pick it up with verse 4 and it reads.

John 1:4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
[5] And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

In the gospel of John, John the Baptist would go on to explain that he was only to witness for the Light. That Light is Jesus Christ, written here in Isaiah that the Messiah would come. Paul also wrote in Ephesians concerning this Light, Eph.5 and verse 5 reads.

Eph.5:5] For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
[6] Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
[7] Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
[8] For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

Back to Isa.2 and verse 6 reads.

Isa.2:6] Therefore thou hast forsaken thy people the house of Jacob, because they be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and they please themselves in the children of strangers.

He didn’t say God would forsake them, he said you would forsake the house of Jacob. The house of Jacob is all twelve tribes of Israel. The house of Judah is only one of the twelve. Let’s keep this in perspective, verse 1 (written to the house of Judah). The house of Israel is America and all the Christian nations today. (Check ref. Due.18:14, Psa.106:35)

Isa.2:7] Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

The children of God will be tempted by these things, gold and silver. And they will be frightened by war.

Isa.2:8] Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made:

Idolatry is rampant in the land, in those days, meaning in these days. This is what is being said in these verses. Do not worship anything but God and God alone. Remember prophecy is for the end times.

Isa.2:9] And the mean man boweth down, and the great man humbleth himself: therefore forgive them not.

All will bow to the true Christ, but many will bow to the false Christ, Satan at the sixth trump. Jesus said “Don’t be deceived”. Mark 13:5.

Isa.2:10] Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty.

Let’s go to Rev.6 and pick it up with verse 15 and it reads.

Rev.6:15] And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
[16] And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Remember verses 5 to the end are written for judgement for the proud in the end times. Back to Isa.2 and verse 11 reads.

Isa.2:11] The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
[12] For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:

Let’s go to Proverbs 16 and pick it up with verse 4 and it reads.

Prov.16:4] The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.
[5] Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Also, for a reference Hos.2:16, but for now, I want you to know that God has had a plan from the beginning and it will happen exactly as it is written. Back to Isa.2 and verse 13 reads.

Isa.2:13] And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan,

Lebanon is used in God’s word as a reference to God’s children, Jacob. We find in the Strongs’ H3844, Lᵉbânôwn in Hebrew, and means “Whiteness”. Now this Bashan is H1316 and means “Fruitful” and is the land given to the half-tribe of Manasseh on the other side of the Jordan. Through all his symbolism the LORD speaks to his Elect, are your eyes and ears open? Verse 13 mentioned “To all his children that are lifted up and proud”. Not a good place to be at this time.

Isa.2:14] And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up,

These mountains and hills are nations, lifted up with pride.

Isa.2:15] And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,

The watchmen on the high towers are asleep, and the LORD is supposed to be our wall. This would be the sixth trump and Lord comes with wrath, for many are deceived.

Isa.2:16] And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.

These ships of Tarshish are commerce and trade. The Kenites control these in the end times. No one will be able to buy or sell in the end times except they worship the Beasts. This reminds me of the five foolish virgins that Jesus taught us about in Mat.25, let’s go there and pick it up with verse 1 and it reads.

Mat.25:1] Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

These lamps are for examples that we are to walk in Christ, the Light.

Mat.25:2] And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
[3] They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

Oil is Truth, it is God’s Word.

Mat.25:4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
[5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.
[6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

The Watchmen cried and woke them all up.

Mat.25:7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
[8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
[9] But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

Remember only those that worship the beasts can buy or sell.

Mat.25:10] And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.
[11] Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
[12] But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Truly I say, I know you not, because they worshipped the beasts. Back to Isaiah 2 and verse 17 reads.

Isa.2:17] And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.

Pride will fall and the LORD shall be exalted. Let’s go to Psalms 10 and pick it up with verse 2 and it reads.

Psa.10:2] The wicked in his pride doth persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
[3] For the wicked boasteth of his heart’s desire, and blesseth the covetous, whom the LORD abhorreth.
[4] The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.

Pride was Satan’s down-fall, it will be for many in the flesh also. Back to Isa.2 and verse 18 reads.

Isa.2:18] And the idols he shall utterly abolish.

All idols shall be abolished, for there is only one GOD.

Isa.2:19] And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Their rock is not our Rock. They hide themselves in the beasts, and pray for mountains to fall on them. Take a note, “That day” is the LORD’s Day, it begins at the seventh trump and is called the Millennium.

Isa.2:20] In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

The moles and bats are very unclean animals, remember the Lord speaks with symbology.

Isa.2:21] To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth.

Knowing their rock is not our Rock, of course they fear this day, because they worshipped the antichrist. Rev.6:15-16. Let’s go to Hebrews 12 and pick it up with verse 26 and it reads.

Heb.12:26] Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
[27] And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
[28] Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
[29] For our God is a consuming fire.

Back to Isa.2 and verse 22 reads.

Isa.2:22] Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?

Stop believing in man but trust in God. This word breath is Soul in Hebrew. Let’s go and read Jeremiah 17 beginning with verse 5 and it reads.

Jer.17:5] Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.
[6] For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.

Cursed in the man that trusts in man.

Jer.17:7] Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
[8] For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Blessed is the man that trusts in God. Isaiah keeps getting better and better, let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
