The oracle concerning Egypt. These oracles have been warnings concerning these nations if you haven’t noticed. A burden if you will, Isaiah 19 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.19:1] The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rideth upon a swift cloud, and shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
When the LORD comes against you, you don’t have a chance. Notice idols and those who worship them are what brings him down.
Isa.19:2] And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against city, and kingdom against kingdom.
We see it is a civil war that God uses to bring down a nation. Think of it like this; a spiritual war from within. Let’s look at history, we find in 2Chronicles 20 verse 20 and it reads.
2Chro.20:20] And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
Jehoshaphat was one of the best kings of Judah, this shows us why. That he brought his people to the LORD.
2Chro.20:21] And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever.
[22] And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.
[23] For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another.
The LORD had the three armies that came against Judah fight each other, and kill each other.
2Chro.20:24] And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.
The LORD will do these things for those who love him. Back to Isa.19 and verse 3 reads.
Isa.19:3] And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers, and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
The counsel are the leaders, those who lead their people to worship idols. Let’s go to Rev.21 and verse 8 reads.
Rev.21:8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
This second death is the death of the soul. Back to Isa.19 and verse 4 reads.
Isa.19:4] And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and a fierce king shall rule over them, saith the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
This king is the king of Babylon, representing the antichrist in the end times. Let’s go to Ezekiel 29 and verse 19 reads.
Eze.29:19] Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.
Now, let’s look into the end times. The first beast (the one world order) gets its power from the second beast (Satan). The whole world worships Satan thinking he is the Christ, but it is the sixth trump. This angers the LORD when his children worship false idols. Read his word with understanding so that you do not follow the world into this great sin. Back to Isa.19 and verse 5 reads.
Isa.19:5] And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and dried up.
Speaking here of the Nile. But for us in these end times remember Rev.17:15, “The waters are the people and the nations”.
Isa.19:6] And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
Speaking here of a drought. I’ll remind you that a drought always leads to a famine. Think of Amos 8:11 and it reads.
Amos 8:11] Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
We are in a spiritual war, and God’s word is letting us know how to fight and what to expect in these end times. Back to Isa.19 and verse 7 reads.
Isa.19:7] The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
There will be no Living Water, and the souls will dry up. Russia dammed up the Nile River many years ago. Communist hate God, Essau forsook his inheritance long ago.
Isa.19:8] The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
Fishing was how they made their living, no water, no fish.
Isa.19:9] Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks, shall be confounded.
This “fine flax” is said for fine linen. Now we know that the fine linen is the righteousness of the saints. Rev.19:8, but here it is saying that they have no good works.
Isa.19:10] And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices and ponds for fish.
Check out this word fish, it is H5315 Nephesh in Hebrew and means; 1. soul, self, life, creature, person, appetite, mind, living being, desire, emotion, passion. What verse 10 is saying is; those that set snares to catch souls and lead them away captive. Think of the captivity of these end times. Those that are deceived and worship the antichrist thinking he is the real Christ. These that hunt souls to make them fly. Eze.13:18-23.
Isa.19:11] Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellers of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
Their wise men are foolish, we see this in our politicians today. But even Pharoah knew that Joseph was wiser than his most wise men. Gen.41:38-42.
Isa.19:12] Where are they? where are thy wise men? and let them tell thee now, and let them know what the LORD of hosts hath purposed upon Egypt.
The LORD has purpose even for the wicked, then and now. Let’s go to Psalms 33 and verse 10 reads.
Psa.33:10] The LORD bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought: he maketh the devices of the people of none effect.
We will have two counsels here, this one of the Godless. He brings them to none effect.
Psa.33:11] The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
[12] Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD: and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
In this spiritual war we have two spirits, one of God and the other of Satan. The LORD loves his children, but these things must happen. Back to Isa.19 and verse 13 reads.
Isa.19:13] The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
Have lied to them, deceived them, and seduced them. This brings us to the sixth trump.
Isa.19:14] The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.
This word perverse is H5773 ʻavʻeh in Hebrew and means; 1. distorting, perverting, warping. Talking about his speech. Reread this very carefully, it says the LORD does this. The LORD will have them in derision.
Isa.19:15] Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail, branch or rush, may do.
[16] In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it.
There will be no good works that come out of Egypt, and in that day is the LORD’s Day. This prophecy is for the end times, there will be a great shaking.
Isa.19:17] And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it.
The House of Judah which is called Israel today is a mighty nation of the LORD.
Isa.19:18] In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of destruction.
This would be easier to understand if you know that there were cities dividing Egypt from Memphis down. From the pyramids down, these were called the shepherd kings. They were Adamic, meaning of the seed line of Adam and Eve. They were herdsmen as it was considered an abomination for an Egyptian to keep cattle.
Isa.19:19] In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
The Hebrews believe that the pyramid was the pillar. This is the capstone that was left off. Have you noticed the great pyramid has no capstone? They have no salvation at that time.
Isa.19:20] And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors, and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
Now there is Salvation for the gentiles, Egypt will call upon the LORD and he shall hear them, notice it happens after they call on him.
Isa.19:21] And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
They shall become believers in that Day of the LORD, all knees will bow.
Isa.19:22] And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
The LORD disciplines those he loves, he also heals them. The LORD calls us to return unto him.
Isa.19:23] In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians shall serve with the Assyrians.

Isa.19:24] In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria, even a blessing in the midst of the land:
[25] Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people, and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
Speaking of On the LORD’s Day. All are in spiritual bodies and the seventh trump has sounded, Jesus our Christ has returned. All knees will bow, and we have the millennium to teach those who love the LORD but did not overcome. Let’s go to his throne.
