Now in this chapter we will learn of the serpent seed. That isn’t a theory, it isn’t some made up thing. It is the Word of God. not my opinion, but God’s word. Again, never put your trust in Man but only in the LORD. You might have to put away traditions of men or put new wine in a new bottle.
Gen.3 the Serpents seed
[1] Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
This is not a snake. But the Serpent, another name for Satan. (rev.12:9) will give you a couple of names, all are Satan.
[2] And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
These trees are “ets” in the Hebrew, and they mean fruit trees.
[3] But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
Remember there are two trees in the midst of the garden. The tree of Life, and the tree of good and evil. In other words God said not to eat of the tree of good and evil, this being Satan. This word “touch” is Naga H5060 and means “to lie with a woman”.
[4] And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
So the Serpent lied. Know that he is a liar and the father of it. Has this been said anywhere else in God’s word. Lets go to 2cor.11.2-3. And it reads.
2Cor.11:2) For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
[3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Know Satan is a master at deception. He will seduce you or attempt to deceive you and has patience. Now back to Gen.3:5 and it reads.
[5] For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
First this word eat is H398 in the Strongs and means to devour, to burn up with fire. In other words partake of your own will. Remember it is Satan speaking here. Second this word eyes is H5869 and means your spiritual eyes. And opened is H6491. Can mean eyes or ears, again spiritual. So when Satan is talking to Eve here, he is deceiving her to partake of the tree of good and evil, Himself.
[6] And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
Not only was Eve seduced here but Adam also was seduced by Satan, that’s right, a homosexual act also took place in the garden. Not my words but Gods word states that. You just read it for yourself.
[7] And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
This is the beginning of the parable of “the fig tree”. We need to understand that it began in the garden. Now Satan is from the beginning trying to pollute the seed line from which Christ shall come from. And where is the apple? Stop lying to our children in Sunday school. Like me they will find out one day that you lied to them and become very angry. Or they may think all of it is a lie, then what? You just drove a child of God from His word with your lies. How will God repay you? Its one thing not to know, but its another to know and lie. They did not sew apple leaves and cover their mouths. They sewed fig leaves and covered their private parts. They were in a fig grove. And they had sex with Satan because they were wholly seduced.
[8] And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
Right here explains that both God and Satan are in the garden with Adam and Eve. That tree of good and evil, and that tree of Life. And they were afraid because they knew better.
[9] And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
[10] And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
We too shall stand one day before God and have to answer for ourselves. But by the blood of Christ we can ask for forgiveness of our sins. Have you repented.
[11] And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
[12] And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
This is typical of man to blame women, but the LORD won’t let it slide.
[13] And the LORD God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
Beguiled H5377 to seduce. Eat H398 to lay. She laid with Satan.
[14] And the LORD God said unto the serpent, “Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:”
This is a statement of degradation. In revelations 12:9 we have several names for Satan.
Rev.12:9) And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Though this is talking about a future time (the 6th. trump) he gives us some of his names the one I want you to catch is Serpent.
[15] And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
We just heard the first prophesy in Gods word. That he would bruise his heel (they nailed them to the cross) and that He would bruise his head. That would come at the 2nd.Advent. but check out this between thy seed and her seed. And don’t listen to someone that says the serpents seed as a theory. You just read it’s a fact. But lets go to Jesus for He taught us in Matthew chapter 13 about this.
Mat.13:37) He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;
[38] The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
[39] The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
Who is this wicked one, it’s the serpent in the garden. Jesus also taught in John ch.8 these things too. That this wicked seed will become the Kenites. The offspring of Cain.
John.8:42) Jesus said unto them, “If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.”
[43] “Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.”
[44] “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.”
Who was the first murderer? Cain. Going back to Genesis chapter 3 and verse16 reads…
Gen.3:16)Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Don’t overlook this multiply thy conception. Eve will have two conceptions, she will have twins. One by Satan and one by Adam. Cain of that wicked one and Able of Adam. This is possible just ask any doctor. Notice also she was told she would only know Adam from now on. And he would rule over her. Meaning no other man would come between them.
[17] And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
[18] Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
[19] In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
God had provided Adam with the garden that he did not have to work, he did not have to plow or harvest because it was provided for him. But now, he would work and by the sweat of his own brow, he would feed himself and Eve. It would be hard but he would do it. Cains genealogy (Kenites) would not be able to do this because of his sins. And can’t until this day.
[20] And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
Some would have you believe that Eve was mother of all. Not true. It is impossible for one race to bare another race. But that through her, umbilical cord to umbilical cord, Christ would come. And if you are not in Him, you are not living.
[21] Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
So the Lord put clothes on them because of the sin in the garden. Before Satan beguiled them they were naked and happy. And did not know sin.
[22] And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
What he’s saying is now that Adam and Eve know Satan, he must separate them from one another. So they can receive from Jesus, the tree of Life, salvation.
[23] Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
[24] So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Kicked out of the garden of Eden. Wow I couldn’t imagine the feeling. But at least now he has a farmer. Now these Cherubims are the same one’s that we find in Revelations. There they are called the four beast. Beast meaning, simply creations. Since Satan’s overthrow, God no longer has two protecting the mercy seat, he created these four to protect it. And now are in the garden. And that flaming sword, Rev.1:16. The sword is the tongue of the Lord, it is truth. It is the Word of the LORD. Let us go to his throne.
