We all know the importance of family. But today the progressive movement is attacking every aspect of the family. Our children are no longer protected from pedophiles in our schools, our children are no longer safe at college. The moment you send your son or daughter to college they will question their sex, as if that’s why we sent them there. Our children can no longer do math (that’s racist), no longer read (somehow that’s racist also). And most important to them, they will have your child questioning God. This is very predictable, since the Lord warned us many times and in many places in his scriptures. But this is why they don’t want your child to believe in God. God teaches there is right and wrong, good and bad, holy and unholy. They could not convince our generation, but they have already convinced most of the younger generation. So, how can we protect our children? Well, it begins at home, it is the responsibility of both mother and father. Let’s see how the Father tells us in His word. And it begins in Genesis chapter 1:27, and it reads.
Gen.1:27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
He did not create them confused, he created them male and female. This is what they can’t stand, they live in confusion, this is called Babylon. We just learned that God made a divine creation here, and we call it marriage.
Gen.1:28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Another thing they can’t stand is the thought that this world (age) was created for man and not man for the world. There is global warming every year, always in the spring. But why would they not just leave us Christians alone? Because we are a Christian nation. And they have hatred in their hearts for God, this is how we judge them by their spirits. Let’s see how Jesus handled opposition to marriage, Let’s go to Matthew 19 and verse 3 reads.
Mat.19:3] The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
[4] And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,
[5] And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
[6] Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
Let no man come between you and your wife. It is a divine creation of the LORD. Jesus taught us in Mark 3:25 and it reads.
Mar.3:25] And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
Let no man come between you and your family.
And now children, what is your responsibility for your parents. We find it in Ephesians 6:1-3 and it reads.
Eph.6:1] Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
[2] Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)
(3] That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.
To obey your parents is right if it is in the Lord. If not then it could be of the devil. As for the promise of longevity, you find that in the fifth commandment. Exodus 20:12. And it reads.
Exo.20:12] Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Now for you fathers we keep reading in Ephesians.
Eph.6:4] And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
Don’t do things just to upset your child’s wellbeing, or to make him or her angry. But in discipline and in the word of God. Teach them scriptures and be an example for them on how to be righteous in the sight of the Lord. Let’s go to 1Tim.3:4-6. And read how a man should rule his house.
1Tim.3:4] One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
This is discipline.
[5] (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
[6] Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
So, we see here that the devil is always waiting and watching. Pride is his signature. But what of the father that doesn’t lead his family? We read in 1Tim.5:8.
1Tim.5:8] But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
Worse than an unbeliever. We must fight back against this wicked world with God in our lives. Fathers, it is up to you lead your families and here’s why. 1Cor.11:8-9 reads.
1Cor.11:8] For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.
[9] Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
Now women, if your husband is an unbeliever, then it becomes your responsibility to lead your family in the way of Christ. And lead them in scriptures like your husband should’ve, then maybe you can lead him back to Christ as well. Let’s read 1Cor.7:13-14.
1Cor.7:13] And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.
[14] For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.
Either way you look at it they can sanctify one another. Family, the one thing all people have at some point in this life. But in this generation of the fig tree, Satan can’t have it without attacking it at every turn. So, stand strong in the Lord, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Let us look at it this way. Lust brings on jealousy, jealousy brings on hate, hate brings on deceit, and deceit brings on unbelief. Then Satan has destroyed your family. Any way Satan can, he will. However, if parents teach scriptures to their children, then their children will know God. And this will give your children a shield (Christ) for when they go out into the world.
Now let’s take it spiritually and factually. God is our Father, and we are his children. We wait for his second advent, the marriage of the Lamb. At that point we are all feminine, so to speak, for we are the bride, and he is the “Brides groom”. That is spiritual, but for now we live in the flesh. And in the flesh, we are created by Him male and female. He has made the decision for us either man or woman, and that is final. Do not be deceived by man (Jer.17:5). But trust in God the Father. For he is the head of the family. Remember we are not of this world, but rather we came through this world. Let’s go to his throne.
Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
