Continuing from Isaiah 61, Isaiah 62 and verse 1 reads.

Isa.62:1] For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

For Zion’s sake, not for those who worshipped the antichrist ignorantly, but for Jerusalem’s sake. The LORD loves Jerusalem so much that Christ was born there and will return there. Remember Isa.46 and verse 12 reads.

Isa.46:12] Hearken unto me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness:
[13] I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my glory.

Back to Isa.62 and verse 2 reads.

Isa.62:2] And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

What could this new name be? Let’s go to Acts 11 and verse 26 reads.

Acts 11:26] And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

Christians means; Christ Men. No gender implied, for circumcision is of the heart and is for both male and female.

Isa.62:3] Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Let’s look at this word diadem, it is H6797 tsânîyph pronounced tsaw-neef’ and means; 1. turban, headdress. Now let’s look at this verse a little closer, it said; “And a royal turban in the hand of our God”. The turban is supposed to be on the head, yet he is holding it in his hand, he has taken it off their heads. Meaning they also will serve him, for all will know that he is the LORD. Let’s go to 1 Thessalonians 2 and verse 19 reads.

1Thes.2:19] For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming?

All knees will bow at the coming of the LORD. Back to Isa.62 and verse 4 reads.

Isa.62:4] Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzi-bah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Hephzibah; My delight is in her. Beulah; Married. Why? Because the LORD dwells there. Shechinah H3068. The presence of the LORD. Let’s go to Hosea 1 and verse 9 reads.

Hos.1:9] Then said God, Call his name Lo-ammi: for ye are not my people, and I will not be your God.

Lo is Not and ammi is people. For they fell away from God, not that God would ever fall away from us. Think of the great falling away that happens before Christ returns. They worshipped the antichrist thinking he was the real Christ, but were deceived.

Hos.1:10] Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered; and it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, there it shall be said unto them, Ye are the sons of the living God.

Let’s go to 1Pet.2 and verse 9 reads.

1Pet.2:9] But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:

Speaking to his elect, a chosen generation or offspring of Jacob.

1Pet.2:10] Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

Back to Isa.62 and verse 5 reads.

Isa.62:5] For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

We wait for the marriage to the Lamb, though some are married already (the Elect). Let’s go to Rev.21 and verse 9 reads.

Rev.21:9] And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.

Let’s skip down to verse 21 and it reads.

Rev.21:21] And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

Twelve for perfection. Twelve tribes and twelve disciples and so forth. Pure and holy is everything.

Rev.21:22] And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
[23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
[24] And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
[25] And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
[26] And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
[27] And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.

This is the bride of Christ, all who are written in the Lamb’s book of life. John 3 and verse 15 reads.

John 3:15] That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Before we continue, I want you to recognize that Zion is Jerusalem. It will be God’s holy place on earth when He returns and dwells with us. Have you ever heard the term Zionist, never said with a pleasant smile is it. Nonetheless, we remember that they hated Jesus before they hated us. John 15:18-19. Back to Isa.62 and verse 6 reads.

Isa.62:6] I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

You who teach the Word of God, keep not silent. Let’s go to Ezekiel 3 and verse 17 reads.

Eze.3:17] Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
[18] When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.
[19] Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Are you a watchman, has the LORD given you truth from his Word? Do you understand the times in which you live? What do you say? What do you teach? Read God’s Word, understand God’s Word, then teach God’s Word for it is a commandment to his Elect. Back to Isa.62 and verse 7 reads.

Isa.62:7] And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Here is our commandment, give us no rest until God is established in the land. Speak and do not remain silent in the days leading up to the seventh trump. The “give us no rest” simply means do his Work. Christ is our rest of course but this is not talking about that rest, he simply wants us to stay in the field and keep working. Let’s go to Zephaniah 3 and verse 20 reads.

Zeph.3:20] At that time will I bring you again, even in the time that I gather you: for I will make you a name and a praise among all people of the earth, when I turn back your captivity before your eyes, saith the LORD.

Now let’s go to Mark 13, Jesus is teaching how it will be when he returns. Mark 13 and verse 32 reads.

Mark 13:32] But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
[33] Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.
[34] For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
[35] Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
[36] Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
[37] And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Stay awake and watch, because if you warn them not, they will die in their sins but their blood will be required at our hands. Back to Isa.62 and verse 8 reads.

Isa.62:8] The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:
[9] But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

Another promise from the LORD to you and me. Jesus sits on the right hand of the LORD, so by the strength of the LORD the LORD does this. By his Salvation and by his Mercy he does this. Does what? He gives you and me our rewards for our Works.

Isa.62:10] Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Our job as his Elect is to go out and bring his children back to him. As his watchmen, we sound the warning that the time is near.

Isa.62:11] Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Speaking of you and me, we proclaim that the Savior comes and behold his judgments will he bring on all the people. Good and bad, all will receive their rewards.

Isa.62:12] And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Jerusalem shall be called Zion, and God dwells there. Hephzibah, the LORD delights in her. And Beulah, all that are written in the book of the Lamb shall be married. And we shall be called the Chosen, loved by God. Let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
