The assurance of Israel’s deliverance. Isaiah 27 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.27:1] In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
In that day brings us to these end times once more. First, the sea are the people of this world, mainly the Mystery Babylon, those who worship the beast. Rev.17:15. Second, let’s look carefully at these names. Leviathan from Job 41. And the serpent from the garden, Gen.3. The dragon from Rev.12. These are just some of the names for Satan and the offices in which he holds. Let’s go to Rev.12 and verse 9 reads.
Rev.12:9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
Satan has many names as we see in God’s word. Notice that in the end times his name is dragon, and his angels are cast out of heaven with him. This will be at the sixth trump, and it comes soon. Back to Isa.27 and verse 2 reads.
Isa.27:2] In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
[3] I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
Christ is our vine. The red wine is for his blood and just a part of our sacraments. The other being the unleavened bread which is his body. We are the branches from the vine. It is a good vineyard. Let’s remember to sing to her, Isa.5 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.5:1] Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
How does the LORD keep it, let’s go to Psa.31:5 and it reads.
Psa.31:5] Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
The LORD loves you and will keep you, trust in him. Back to Isa.27 and verse 4 reads.
Isa.27:4] Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
Speaking here of Satan and his seed, they are our enemies especially in these end times. Fury is not in me but our war is with principalities and not of flesh and blood. Vengeance belongs to the LORD.
Isa.27:5] Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
The LORD is my Shepherd I shall not want. We learned a few chapters ago that the LORD is our Strength. Peace is our Rest, our Sabbath which is Jesus Christ.
Isa.27:6] He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
Jacob for all twelve tribes, and Israel for the ten tribes that went north after captivity and over the Caucasus Mountains. Spreading over Europe and eventually here to America (taking root). Christianity spreading all over the world because of the House of Israel, being very fruitful.
Isa.27:7] Hath he smitten him, as he smote those that smote him? or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that are slain by him?
Jacob, all twelve tribes today are under attack by God’s enemies. That would be Judah (Israel today) and Israel (America today). Keep your head in the game and your eyes on the ball.
Isa.27:8] In measure, when it shooteth forth, thou wilt debate with it: he stayeth his rough wind in the day of the east wind.
He gives his children time to absorb the word of God. God will open the eyes and ears of his elect when the time is right. When what shoots forth? How do you plant a fig tree? You don’t plant a seed, you set forth shoots. Jesus would tell us in Mark 13 and verse 28 reads.
Mark 13:28] Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near:
[29] So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors.
When you see these things, you know that the end is coming soon.
Mark 13:30] Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.
This generation of the fig tree came to pass in 1948 when Jerusalem became a nation again. Never before in the history of the world has a nation ceased to exist and become a nation again. Back to Isa.27 and verse 9 reads.
Isa.27:9] By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
A lot was said here in that verse. The LORD himself takes away our sins upon repentance of the people. As a nation, the time is now, repent. Salvation has come into the world that is the fruit that was needed for repentance. Now chalkstones are only found in this verse. H68 ʼeben pronounced eh’-ben. And means; 1. petrified with terror. 2. perverse, hard heart. We look at what was said after our forgiveness and we find “The groves and images shall not stand up. These are idols, false gods and the groves are said for Ishtar (Easter) another form of Baal worship. God will open the eyes of his elect to his word in these end times.
Isa.27:10] Yet the defenced city shall be desolate, and the habitation forsaken, and left like a wilderness: there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
Defensed, H68 ‘Eben; hard hearted people because they have been deceived. Desolate, because the desolator is there, Satan at the sixth trump. All who worship Satan at the coming of Jesus will be consumed by fire. Heb.12:29.
Isa.27:11] When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off: the women come, and set them on fire: for it is a people of no understanding: therefore he that made them will not have mercy on them, and he that formed them will shew them no favour.
They are spiritually dead because they were lied to and taught the rapture doctrine. False teachers will have the blood of the people whom they deceived on their hands. Let’s go to Eze.33 and verse 6 reads.
Eze.33:6] But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.
And in 1Pet.4 and verse 17 reads.
1Pet.4:17] For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Judgement begins at the pulpit, pastors you have been warned by God, teach the word of God. Back to Isa.27 and verse 12 reads.
Isa.27:12] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall beat off from the channel of the river unto the stream of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
It will come to pass that all that have been taken into captivity will come back to the LORD. He will be our God and we will be his people.
Isa.27:13] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
Let’s make this very clear what was just said. At the seventh trump and it shall come, that those of God’s elect that were in the land of captivity. For we were in captivity to both Egypt and Assyria, being delivered up to Satan. That we shall be there to worship the LORD on Mount Zion, Jerusalem, when he returns at the seventh trump. Jesus told us these things in Mark 13, speaking of the reason we would be there in Jerusalem in the end times when Satan is there. Mark 13 and verse 11 reads.
Mark 13:11] But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.
This is when the elect will be delivered up and the Holy Spirit speaks through us, our destiny.
Mark 12] Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.
You see our families will deliver us up to death (Satan, Heb.2:14) thinking he is Jesus. They have been deceived by their pastors that they would fly away with the first Jesus, but it will be the antichrist.
Mark 13:13] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
[14] But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:
Flee to the mountain, Mount Zion, this is the destiny of God’s elect. Let’s go to his throne.
