The apocalypse of Isaiah. Judgement upon the earth. Apocalypse simply means Revelation, the unveiling or to make known. This chapter is very eye opening and you might just see some of these prophecies have come to pass recently, let’s pay close attention. Isa.24 and verse 1 reads.
Isa.24:1] Behold, the LORD maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof.
Empty as being poured out of a bottle. Waste is desolate, have you seen the looks of people walking around in a stupor? Upside down, what was true is now a lie, and what was a lie is now their truth. This first verse has now come to pass.
Isa.24:2] And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him.
This is to include all people. Sad that the priests are included, but have you been to any church in the past twenty years that teaches the word of God? Let’s go to Hos. 4 and verse 9 reads.
Hos.4:9] And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.
The LORD will not play around in these end times, study his word to show yourself approved. 2Tim.2:15. Back to Isa.24 and verse 3 reads.
Isa.24:3] The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the LORD hath spoken this word.
The land SHALL be emptied and spoiled. That the LORD has spoken this word means what I have said all along. The LORD’s word will happen exactly as it is written. Peter learned this the hard way, do you think Peter was a coward when he denied him thrice? No, he was a very brave man, who died a Martyr. And Jesus knew this, that’s why Jesus built his church on him.
Isa.24:4] The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish.
The proud and unrepentant people shall be consumed by fire and then we will go into the third and final earth and heaven age. Eternity.
Isa.24:5] The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.
The earth is defiled also and he gives us the reasons here that we should not overlook. Transgressed the laws; sinned. Changed the ordinance; this one needs a little help. We learn in Revelation that the church of Ephesus was almost perfect. Let’s go to Rev.2 and verse 4 reads.
Rev.2:4] Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
They left out Christ and have changed the ordinance.
Rev.2:5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
Repentance is Salvation. Back to Isa.24 and verse 6 reads.
Isa.24:6] Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.
We have the very elect, 7,000 and we have the elect, 144,000. Not to mention the Ethnos or gentiles who are so many they cannot be numbered. Yet this leaves just a few who are saved. Look around, much evil in this world today and they will be burned as chaff.
Isa.24:7] The new wine mourneth, the vine languisheth, all the merryhearted do sigh.
Christ is our vine, we are the branches. God is the pruner, he cuts off all who do not produce fruit and casts them on the fire.
Isa.24:8] The mirth of tabrets ceaseth, the noise of them that rejoice endeth, the joy of the harp ceaseth.
All will come to an end. Let’s go to Hos.2 and verse 10 reads.
Hos.2:10] And now will I discover her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall deliver her out of mine hand.
[11] I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
Catch her solemn feast, the only solemn feast is the Passover, the other two are to be joyful. Speaking of the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost) and the Feast of Tabernacles.
Hos.2:12] And I will destroy her vines and her fig trees, whereof she hath said, These are my rewards that my lovers have given me: and I will make them a forest, and the beasts of the field shall eat them.
[13] And I will visit upon her the days of Baalim, wherein she burned incense to them, and she decked herself with her earrings and her jewels, and she went after her lovers, and forgat me, saith the LORD.
This generation has forgotten the LORD, truly they seem to hate the LORD. Back to Isa.24 and verse 9 reads.
Isa.24:9] They shall not drink wine with a song; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
The wine is the blood of Christ, our sacraments for communion with the LORD. Remember in chapter five we covered quite a few woes, warnings for God’s children? Let’s look back to a few of them.
Isa.5:11] Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
Isa.5:20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Isa.5:21] Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
Isa.5:22] Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:
We see many more woes in that chapter that are brought up in this chapter. Go back and read chapter 5 when you find time. Back to Isa.24 and verse 10 reads.
Isa.24:10] The city of confusion is broken down: every house is shut up, that no man may come in.
Confusion is Babel, as in Babylon. We have been seeing many likes and prophecies given for today that have come true already. The lies that come forth out of the Dragons mouth leading us to this confusion of today is astounding. It’s as if we cannot even have a conversation with many of the people in this world. Pay attention, these prophecies are given to help you understand the times in which we live.
Isa.24:11] There is a crying for wine in the streets; all joy is darkened, the mirth of the land is gone.
Those that love the LORD cry in the streets for some sort of sanity, there will be none. This is why we read in Hosea 2:11 about her solemn feast being laid waste. The children’s children of the LORD have no love for Jesus or of his sacrifice.
Isa.24:12] In the city is left desolation, and the gate is smitten with destruction.
Look at our large cities today, desolation and destruction. They keep electing the same people with the same ideas that have the same outcome. This is the definition of insanity. This gate is for judgement.
Isa.24:13] When thus it shall be in the midst of the land among the people, there shall be as the shaking of an olive tree, and as the gleaning grapes when the vintage is done.
Everything is political in these end times, remember Isaiah 17 and verse 5 reads.
Isa.17:5] And it shall be as when the harvestman gathereth the corn, and reapeth the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathereth ears in the valley of Rephaim.
[6] Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in the outmost fruitful branches thereof, saith the LORD God of Israel.
Left us our daily bread, for the elect, in the end times.
Isa.17:7] At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect to the Holy One of Israel.
Jesus Christ is the Holy One of Israel. Back to Isa.24 and verse 14 reads.
Isa.24:14] They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the LORD, they shall cry aloud from the sea.
The sea are the peoples, Rev.17:15. The song is the song of Moses, Deu.32 and Rev.15:3.
Isa.24:15] Wherefore glorify ye the LORD in the fires, even the name of the LORD God of Israel in the isles of the sea.
Fires here are said for light, Christ is our Light. Another place in the Old Testament where Jesus is mentioned.
Isa.24:16] From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even glory to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
This word leanness is H7334 pronounced raw-zee’, and means; thinness or wasting as wasting away. What is being said here is because of the lies, even the lies from the pulpits, what chance have I got?
Isa.24:17] Fear, and the pit, and the snare, are upon thee, O inhabitant of the earth.
The deception is all around, but those who know God’s word should not fear, the LORD is with you.
Isa.24:18] And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
In other words, jump out of the pot and into the fire. If they just had teachers in the churches teaching them God’s word instead of out of their own hearts, they would have had the truth. Judgement begins at the pulpit for this reason, pastors be warned. Let’s go to Psa.18 and verse 4 reads.
Psa.18:4] The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
Because of the flood of lies that pour out of the mouth of the Dragon and those who worship him.
Psa.18:5] The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
[6] In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
[7] Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was wroth.
Because the anger of the LORD is made wroth when he hears the cries of his children. Back to Isa.24 and verse 19 reads.
Isa.24:19] The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly.
I know I seem to go to Heb.12 in many studies, but for sake of what is being said here let’s go again to Heb.12 and verse 26 reads.
Heb.12:26] Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
[27] And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.
[28] Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
[29] For our God is a consuming fire.
There will be another shaking, but not just earth but heaven also. Important to understand that it is Jesus that we stand on, he is our Rock that cannot be moved. Back to Isa.24 and verse 20 reads.
Isa.24:20] The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
From verse 17 until now we have been talking about the one world order, the first beast that gets its power from Satan. The lies that pour out of their mouths.
Isa.24:21] And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high, and the kings of the earth upon the earth.
Judgment begins at the pulpit, 1Pet.4:17.
Isa.24:22] And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.
Here we have Satan being held in the pit, but for only the millennium, then he is released for a short time. Then the great white throne judgment day comes. An awesome day that begins eternity soon after. Can you see how this is the Revelation of Isaiah?
Isa.24:23] Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.
Let’s go to Rev.19 and verse 3 reads.
Rev.19:3] And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.
This is all that is evil going up in smoke forever and ever.
Rev.19:4] And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
[5] And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.
[6] And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.
[7] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
[8] And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
[9] And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.
And I say Hallelujah come LORD Jesus come. Let’s go to his throne.
Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
