In today’s study we have a few titles and they are; Verses 1-13 The parable of the Ten Virgins. Verses 14-30 The parable of the Talents. Verses 31-46 The Judgement of the Nations. Matthew 25 and verse 1 reads.

Mat.25:1] Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

Jesus tells another parable, these ten virgins are Christians, we will see, have made it to the 11th hour. The hour of temptation, the seven years given in Daniel (Dan.9:27) which Jesus has shortened to five months. (Rev.9:5,10) Divided in half, being 2 ½ months each. The first is for the first beast, the one world order. (Towards the end of the fifth trump.) The second is for the second beast, Satan himself here de-facto with his 7,000 fallen angels. (This would be the sixth trump.) Let’s go to Revelation 19 and verse 7 reads.

Rev.19:7] Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
[8] And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
[9] And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Our fine linen are our righteous acts, our works. Let’s go to Isaiah 54 and verse 5 reads.

Isa.54:5] For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

Speaking of the Lamb of God when you hear our Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 2 reads.

Mat.25:2] And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

In Matthew 22 Jesus gave a parable of the wedding feast. Let’s go to Mat.22 and verse 10 reads.

Mat.22:10] So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.

I said in Matthew 22:10 to pay attention to the key words Bad and Good. The bad are the five foolish virgins. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 3 reads.

Mat.25:3] They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:
[4] But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

The oil represents truth, God’s Word. The wise had knowledge and the foolish had no truth. Perhaps because of the church they attended taught rapture theories. But the wise are his Elect, let’s go to 1Thessalonians 5 and verse 3 reads.

1Thes.5:3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

As travail upon a woman with child, Mark 13:17.

1Thes.5:4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
[5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

We are God’s Elect and we have oil in our lamps.

1Thes.5:6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
[7] For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
[8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.

Be watchmen, fill your lamps with oil of the Word of God. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 5 reads.

Mat.25:5] While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

Tarried is delayed, they should have been on Watch.

Mat.25:6] And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.

Let’s go to Mark 13 and verse 35 reads.

Mark 13:35] Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:
[36] Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
[37] And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Here is why they took lamps, it happens during the night, meaning when you least expect it. Why is that? Because Satan will be here claiming to be Jesus, and all are deceived with the exception of God’s Elect. These are the five virgins that are wise. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 7 reads.

Mat.25:7] Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.
[8] And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.
[9] But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

We have a problem here, remember before Jesus returns Satan is here claiming to be Christ. Let’s go to Revelation 13 and verse 17 reads.

Rev.13:17] And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

No one can buy or sell without the mark of beasts, meaning you must worship the first which is antichrist. Now, let’s go to Acts 8 and verse 20 reads.

Acts 8:20] But Peter said unto him, Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money.
[21] Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God.

These foolish virgins became an abomination to the LORD because to buy, they had to worship the antichrist. Don’t be like them, Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2Tim.2:15. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 10 reads.

Mat.25:10] And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

While the foolish were gone to buy oil, Christ came. Let’s go to Isaiah 26 and verse 20 reads.

Isa.26:20] Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

Protecting his Elect from the wrath of the LORD at the seventh trump. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 11 reads.

Mat.25:11] Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
[12] But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

Let’s go to Psalms and find how the wise would know this, because it is written in God’s Word. Psalms 5 and verse 5 reads.

Psa.5:5] The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

The wise have understanding because they study the Word of God. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 13 reads.

Mat.25:13] Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh.

The wise know that Satan comes first at the sixth trump, and the True Christ comes at the seventh trump. We know there is no rapture or flying away, we put on the gospel armor and stand against Satan when we are delivered up. Now, we come to another parable, again this one also pertains to the second advent. Jesus has been gone for two thousand years, let’s keep this in mind as we go through this parable.

Mat.25:14] For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

These servants are Called, chosen, and received his truth to give to others. The results will be our works, the only thing we take with us to heaven and makes up our robes of white linen.

Mat.25:15] And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.

Remember these are Called, eyes have been opened to the Truth. Now, we must plant the seeds and God will make them grow. These several abilities are our own abilities that we can handle.

Mat.25:16] Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
[17] And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

So far, so good. Each to his own ability gained one hundred percent. Job well done.

Mat.25:18] But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.

This one didn’t even try and he hid the Truth from his fellow man. Wicked.

Mat.25:19] After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
[20] And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
[21] His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
[22] He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
[23] His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

The one thing we all hope to hear from the LORD, Well done, good and faithful servant. Notice that the reward for each one’s ability will be the same. Now, we come to that wicked one.

Mat.25:24] Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
[25] And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

He knew his job was to plant seeds, he was chosen and called to do this job, and instead was lazy and hid the truth that God gave him to share with others.

Mat.25:26] His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
[27] Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

I would have at least made interest on the money, the money being his Word.

Mat.25:28] Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.

The first servant proved his abilities.

Mat.25:29] For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

The knowledge of even this servant is taken away. Now, comes his rewards.

Mat.25:30] And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

His reward was the same as the foolish virgins, cast out into the darkness and not shut in with the LORD. Remember it was shut for God’s Elect, until the wrath of the Lamb was over. His usury would have been at least he saved himself. Ezekiel 33:1-9.

Mat.25:31] When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

We have here the second advent, the seventh trump, the LORD has returned. He will sit in Jerusalem after the false Christ defiles it. He will cleanse it, not one stone atop another.

Mat.25:32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

He will divide the good from the bad, the good figs from the evil figs. Let’s go to Ezekiel 20 and verse 38 reads.

Eze.20:38] And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress against me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Now let’s go to Romans 14 and verse 11 reads.

Rom.14:11] For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Written in Isaiah 45:23.

Rom.14:12] So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Just like the servant who received one talent. Now, let’s go to Revelation 20 and verse 12 reads.

Rev.20:12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Back to Matthew 25 and verse 33 reads.

Mat.25:33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Let’s go to Psalms 79 and verse 13 reads.

Psa.79:13] So we thy people and sheep of thy pasture will give thee thanks for ever: we will shew forth thy praise to all generations.

Back to Matthew 25 and verse 34 reads.

Mat.25:34] Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

This word foundation is, you guessed it, Katabole G2602 from G2598 the overthrow of Satan in the first earth age, prepared for his Elect since then. The servants who had five and two talents, the Called and Chosen.

Mat.25:35] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Let’s go to Isaiah 58 and verse 7 reads.

Isa.58:7] Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?
[8] Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.

Back to Matthew 25 and verse 36 reads.

Mat.25:36] Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
[37] Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
[38] When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
[39] Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
[40] And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Our works are the only thing we take with us to heaven, and now we know why. The LORD sees his servants works, and counts them as if we had done for him. These are the talents he has given to us before he comes. Our faith is our rewards paid in full.

Mat.25:41] Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Here is his judgement on those wicked, unfruitful, evil, slothful in the end times. Let’s go to 2Peter 2 and verse 4 reads.

2Pet.2:4] For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

Now let’s go to Jude and verse 6 reads.

Jude 1:6] And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

These fallen angels will not live and die instantly at the seventh trump. These are those seven thousand who die in the streets in Rev.11:13. Back to Matthew 25 and verse 42 reads.

Mat.25:42] For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
[43] I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
[44] Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
[45] Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
[46] And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

It has been written in Daniel 12 and verse 2 reads.

Dan.12:2] And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

We can see Jesus has foretold us all things. Keep working in the fields, and don’t be the first one taken because he is taken by Satan and is deceived. And our talents are our works that we do for others while we wait for the True Christ, the second advent which is the seventh trump. Great chapter, let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
