No one should come between you and God

Luke 17 and verse 1 reads.

Luke 17:1] Then said he unto the disciples, It is impossible but that offences will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come!

Anyone that goes against Gods elect in these times or one of his apostles in those days will receive his reward. Let this comfort you.

Luke 17:2] It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.
[3] Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
[4] And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.

This didn’t say forgive him whenever, this said rebuke him. And if he repents then  forgive him. Jesus also has said, if you don’t forgive them then he won’t forgive us.

Luke 17:5] And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.
[6] And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Plucked up by the roots, symbolic of the Kenites. The tares from Matt.13, with a little faith you can move mountains “nations”.

Luke 17:7] But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
[8] And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
[9] Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
[10] So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Don’t treat your servants badly and expect your Father to treat you better. How you treat others your Father will treat you.

Luke 17:11] And it came to pass, as he went to Jerusalem, that he passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee.
[12] And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, which stood afar off:
[13] And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.
[14] And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.

The law requires one that has leprosy to go to the priest. There is a reason for Jesus doing this. Let’s look at the law first. Leviticus 14:2-6 and it reads.

Lev.14:2] This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
[3] And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
[4] Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
[5] And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
[6] As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:

The priest would know all those with leprosy, and Jesus cleansed them on their way. The priest would know that someone healed them. Letting them know that the Son of God was with them. Now back to Luke 17:15 and it reads.

Luke 17:15] And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
[16] And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
[17] And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
[18] There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
[19] And he said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.

I hope that the nine others at least went to the priest. But notice Jesus loved him and it was his faith that made him whole.

Luke 17:20] And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
[21] Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.

Those that love the Lord know and feel the Holy Spirit within them. It is an awesome feeling.

Luke 17:22] And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.
[23] And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.
[24] For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.
[25] But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

Jesus was speaking of both the second coming as well as being with them then. When Jesus returns we won’t need anyone to tell us, because all that remain are turned to spirit immediately. He also knew that they would reject him and crucify him at that time. Prophesy must be fulfilled. Jesus tells us in Mark 13 “if any man tells you that I’m over there, don’t believe him.

Luke 17:26] And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
[27] They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

This goes back to Genesis ch.6. the fallen angels. The reason for the flood, that they were perverting the seed of Christ. That was the first influx. They will come back with Satan at the 6th. trump. Let’s go to Rev.12:7-9 and it reads.

Rev.12:7] And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
[8] And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
[9] And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

They are coming back, be prepared, study his word. Back to Luke and verse 28 reads.

Luke 17:28] Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
[29] But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
[30] Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Look around, this prophesy has come to pass right before our eyes. Notice he said when He is revealed. This is at the 5th. trump, a time of learning. When God is opening the eyes of his elect.

Luke 17:31] In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
[32] Remember Lot’s wife.

Lot’s wife turned back because she could not leave what she loved. Don’t love this world, it shall be destroyed.

Luke 17:33] Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

Be not afraid of those that can kill this body, but He that can destroy the flesh and the soul.

Luke 17:34] I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.

Don’t be the first one taken, he is taken with deception.

Luke 17:35] Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Women also don’t be deceived.

Luke 17:36] Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

They are to keep working, don’t be deceived.

Luke 17:37] And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Eagles should have been translated vultures. They will come to the dead bodies, the spiritually dead. Let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
