Acts 6 is an exciting chapter today that I hope will give all of us courage for these end times. So, let’s get started and verse 1 reads.

Acts 6:1] And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians against the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration.

Grecians are Hellenists those that are Hebrews but speak Greek.

Acts 6:2] Then the twelve called the multitude of the disciples unto them, and said, It is not reason that we should leave the word of God, and serve tables.

Many of them that followed were disciples of Christ, and chose to serve the Lord. These are those that the twelve talked to.

Acts 6:3] Wherefore, brethren, look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom, whom we may appoint over this business.

These seven will serve the Lord on this accord. And they will be left behind to teach the truth not only to the widows but to Judah.

Acts 6:4] But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word.
[5] And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:

These seven were filled with the Holy Spirit.

Acts 6:6] Whom they set before the apostles: and when they had prayed, they laid their hands on them.

Christians are to lay hands on one another, it is in deep prayer that the Lord comes on one in great faith.

Acts 6:7] And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

Even priest of the synagogues joined the faith, and became disciples of the Lord. This church is growing very fast.

Acts 6:8] And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people.

Remember Acts 2:43, let’s reads.

Acts 2:43] And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.

Steven is now one of the Anointed, and will give a great teaching to them that crucified the Lord Jesus Christ. Back to Acts 6 and verse 9 reads.

Acts 6:9] Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen.

The scribes and the elders disputed with Steven about what?

Acts 6:10] And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.

They could not argue with the Holy Spirit. Which came out of Steven. This is what we need to learn. That when we are delivered up to the synagogue of Satan, it will be the Holy Spirit that speaks through us.

Acts 6:11] Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses, and against God.

Steven spoke of Moses, which they claim to know. But Moses spoke of the Savior, which they crucified.

Acts 6:12] And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, and came upon him, and caught him, and brought him to the council,

Remember this will happen to Gods Elect. When they bring us to the synagogue of Satan. Let’s go to Rev. 2:8-11 and read.

Rev.2:8] And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
[9] I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
[10] Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
[11] He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

This second death is death of the soul. Notice that we have only ten days, this should comfort you. Back to Acts and verse 13 reads.

Acts 6:13] And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words against this holy place, and the law:

Just like with Jesus, these are Kenites. Their father was a liar and a murderer and like father, like sons.

Acts 6:14] For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the customs which Moses delivered us.

Do you think they are telling the truth? No. lets go back to John 2:18-21 and read.

John 2:19] Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
[20] Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?
[21] But he spake of the temple of his body.

They lied again, the same people that lied about Jesus, lied about Steven. For Jesus did not say I will destroy it but, “If you destroy it” then I would build it back up in three days and he did resurrect again in three days proving again, that the Kenites that crucified Jesus are coming after his Elect, his chosen. And they will come after us in these end times, are you prepared.

Acts 6:15] And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Just looking at Steven they could see that he was an anointed one of God. This must have been terrifying to them. I want to let you know that when we are delivered up to them in these end times, fear not for the Lord is with you. Let’s go to his throne.

Father, we thank you for your word and ask that you bless all that love you in Jesus’s precious name, Amen.
